lazy sunday after yesterdays treasure hunt through woods and towns to celebrate a 40th birthday
it was fun but physically tireing in the heat
Being entirely exposed to sun can be fun for a moment but tiring in long term.
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Sunday! There will, I think, be some grocery shopping. And some clothes washing. And a few other wonderful examples of boring domestic life.
But for now, I must away.

The amount of swearing kids using Youtube to find out who Peter Capaldi is will learn...
Slightly disturbed by the Angel Islington now playing both Sherlock Holmes and the Doctor, though.
And back.
We had a rather loose session with two players absent. We told about our discoveries to our employer. We tried to get some information from forces unknown who wanted to ask us questions about our discoveries only to learn that it was our employer checking if we speak about that with anyone else.
That creepy teenager might know much more than she shows.
We then told about our discoveries to the master of local mage guild and he told us to not spread those information in a veiled way.
We still plan to go and visit City Of Brass... After getting more experience, leveling a few times and curing one of our party Fighters from fear of fire.
Creepy teenagers usually know more than they let on.
She wasn't creepy until today. Her maid on the other hand, creeped us since we met her.
T -11 hours. I will be going to sleep soon.

Damn, that s+$*'s hard. Back to the grind.

T -15 minutes.
When did I eat a butterfly?
How many times one can wake up in single sleep period.
And why the hell the lawnmowers had to start today before nine?

Phew. Finished phone interview.
They will call me if they want me for another step of recruitment or they will e-mail me if they deem me unfit.

Good fortunes. Here's hoping you get a phone call.
Is there any cut-off time? Or will you be on tender-hooks for the next couple of weeks?
Morning Folks, hope everybody has a wonderful day.

Is there any cut-off time? Or will you be on tender-hooks for the next couple of weeks? They will respond in a few days. Apparently they are quite fast with the recruitment process - friend who works there send my application internally on Thursday and spoke with HR on Friday and they called me the same day to make an appointment for today's interview.
Are all female phone interviewers in corporations sounding the same? Or is our Matrix just reusing their sound files, especially the "I understand." reply which they use after most of my statements.
Not that I have much experience in speaking with female corporate recruiters one phone.

Neighbor started scratching old peeling paint on the staircase himself... Will he paint it himself?
Drejk wrote: Neighbor started scratching old peeling paint on the staircase himself... Will he paint it himself? Doubtful, but probably one of the better forms of stripping on the stairs - less carpet burns.
Duh. I wondered why I am so tired from doing nothing when I noticed that I closed the window during the phone interview because of noisy lawnmowers and didn't opened it afterwards. Now there is too much heat and not enough breathable air.
I hope the phone interview went well for you, Drejk.

Here's hoping the phone interview went swimmingly, Drejk.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee paradox alert~!
I hope you get some good news, Drejk!
Morning, all. What did I miss?
Congrats on the impending relocation, LPM&Clan!
This weekend I went to a cousin's wedding in Buffalo. It was nice to see family I had not seen in some time, and the wedding was great. During the daytime before the wedding I went with some relatives to Niagara Falls. I've been there so many times (I used to live relatively close), but it was fun all the same. Of course, you would think I would remember that there is no shade around any of the attractions, and I got a bit too much sun, but what can you do...
Anyway, the drive back turned out to be fairly horrendous, but I got through it.
My dad is visiting this weekend, which should be fun. It will just be Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Earlier in the day on Saturday I am helping with a picnic for John's employees. I have been informed I will be bringing homemade tiramisu. I'm okay with that, since it's fun and easy to make.

I'm on the NW side of town too. SWEET.
so, I didn't see any FAWTLies at Space City Con.
I ran 1 game on Friday after work that went about an hour late, so 7-12.
I ran a scenario from 9-1, then another from 7-12 on Saturday.
I ran two more scenarios yesterday. The last one was scheduled for 2-6, and we wrapped it up around 8. O.o But, they did manage to kill a runelord, so...that worked out.
But after 24 hours of gaming in a 52 hour period...I'm a little tired. And my voice is gone.
