And Polish movie posters.
I like the one for Willow

That blog had some pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge that looked almost shockingly similar to what I've seen on present-day TV-shows considering they were 50-60 years old.
The ones from Gothenburg, on the other hand - lots of change since 1961.

There is also a city named Portland in Australia. I beg to differ, Portland Kansas is but a speedbump for a Windwagon on the way to South Haven. Itself barely edging into being called a town.
Damn I need to stat these sometime.

I just got the Planescape Boxed Set, Planes of Law Boxed Set, Planes of Chaos Boxed Set, and the Guide to the Astral Plane, all in mint condition (even the original RPGA vouchers are in perfect shape) and at a very reasonable price, from Nobleknight. Just in time too, as I'm starting a Pathfinder campaign set in Planescape in about 3 more weeks.
Save for a scratch on one of the boxes, the books themselves have never been used. I have no idea how on Earth I managed to get these things for the price I paid.
I think I'm about to cry.

Willow is the only one of the movies listed that I saw in cinema - our school went to see it (we also went to Neverending Story as well) - but I don't recall seeing the poster... But it was over 20 years ago and I could forget it or just not notice it.
CH has some photos from his visit to mom and brother on his FB now.
His mom has suspiciously Polish-looking surname...
Or, as dictionary shows, it could be German surname - apparently it is one of the words Polish appropriated from German...

Picked up the Pathfinder Beginner's Box yesterday. I got it for Kellen's birthday Wednesday, considering his love of gaming I think it should be a big hit. I will probably grab him a GM screen as well before then.

How's tricks my former drow brother?
Moorluck wrote: How's tricks my former drow brother? a few slight improvements, but a lot of work ahead. What of you?
Hanging out with the kids, excited about the boy's birthday and enjoying the "daily clue" game we're playing.
Everyday he gets a clue about his present and he tries to figure out what it is. :)
I should really get around to writing a review for Dustpawn.
I should really stop playing with archetypes when I have other stuff to do.

Hey, question for you creatives.
What would be a good name for a cavalier archetype focused around a bonded suit of armor?

Armorbound crusader?
I woke up this morning with a Charlie Horse in my left calf, and I managed to get the muscle to uncramp so I could go back to sleep. Then, my brain decides that I need a good old deadline stress dream (in the guise of having three term papers due on books that I hadn't read yet).

Awesome!
My daughter took to tabletop RPGs much more readily than my son. My son games in my home game, but my daughter goes with me to conventions and actually has a higher level character than I do in PFS play.
