I'm glad you're home, but I'm not glad CS is dealing with wildfires.

To make matters worse Denver cut our forestry and fire fighting budget this year. Denver also had to work some $67 million into the budget this year IIRC to pay the victims of the fire they started last year near Denver.

any reason why it was cut? The fires were bad last year, no reason to think they would not be back this year.

Will they be there tomorrow? Can you being a pie or tart to the game?

It turns out they are only at the 57th Street market on Wednesdays. This place sells pies at Columbia, Bowling Green, and 175th St on Thursdays, but there's no way in hell I am getting to any of those places on my lunch break.

That is what we said, but the budget is a train wreck this year, and I'm certain part of the cuts are intended to punish El Paso county. We have these fights with Denver constantly, and it gets much worse when our party is completely out of power.

WOOT!! Got through my presentations without losing my temper and throwing stuff at people. GO ME!

Also, got a chance to take q a quick trip over to the Goodwill store to donate a bunch of stuff. When I told the lady I didn't want a receipt, she looked surprised, but thanked me.

Hopefully, the stuff will go to a good home.

Silver Crusade

Why didn't you want a receipt?

Edit: On that subject, keep all of the receipts related to your moving expenses, including shipping, movers, gas, tolls, hotels, trucks, etc. Those expenses, along with the donations, are most likely tax deductable. That can add up to big refunds in the spring.

Like my Mage: The Ascension GM, er, storyteller.

The campaign ended year ago, however, and the group probably won't assemble due to some interpersonal drama between her and another player.

Yeah, I've had groups fall apart too. It sucks, but it's just like everything else social - groups and people morph, change, or discover that they just can't get along very well.

You could still get together with parts of the group with whom there won't be drama, and maybe add a few others, however. If she's a good cook, it may be totally worth it. :D

Campaign reached its natural end long before that, thankfully.

I learned that there is tension between that player and one of the hosts caused by the former one overbearing clingy attachment towards the other bordering on stalking.

The rest of group still plays D&D together and I GM Pathfinder for them. She removed herself from the group due to anxiety issues related to her.

At least it wasn't such crash as my extended Fading Suns group... *sigh*

Took two years before the primary Fading Suns GM started talking to half of the group again. Their reconciliation was great birthday present last year for me (they did so during my birthday party).
