GAH.

No, not Houston. Colorado.

We don't do well in the heat and humidity, and Houston's the H&H capitol of the world.

I guess heat and humidity are easier to take without clothing.

[Billy dee]I like you nekkid no matter what the ambient temperature. [/Billy dee]

Good luck Treppa and Puffin on your job search.

Just learned from another thread that GOG.com is offering Torchlight for free.
I was going to go to sleep...

Try Sweden - (nearly) everyone speaks English, and we're like the opposite of hot and humid for most of the year. Well, the opposite of hot, at least.

And a lot drier than Norway!

Well, unless you're in Borås, obviously.

Oh Almighty Set.

Can I please have more hours in the day? Just one or two would be enough, I'm not greedy.

P.S. You need something sacrificed, just say the word. Although you'll probably need to give me those extra hours so I can get the time to do the sacrificing...

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! It was a rough Tuesday for me and the missus. Late Monday night/early Tuesday morning we both came down sick. It was....not pretty.

But we're doing better today. Back at work and all.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, can't stick around too long. Got plenty to do in my last days here.

Scarab Sages

Bye for now.

*yawn*

Still alive.

Not that I sat playing Torchlight until 6 or maybe 7...

I wonder how he feels about that.

I knew there are worshipers of Mikaze here on forums, but Set's?

Considering Set was allied with Apep who was always trying to eat the sun, I think more hours in the day rather goes against his intended goals....

Now if you're okay with longer nights, he's probably good for it.

I worship Mikaze, sort of.

Hey I don't care if it's more night. As long as there are more hours I'm all good...

Works for me. I'm mostly nocturnal as is - or I would be if work allowed it - so I call this a win.

Yeah, my 6am starts at work don't mesh well with my nocturnal nature. Subsequently I tend to subsist on 3-6 hours of sleep a night. Once a week I will extend this out a bit when my body just looks at me in disgust and won't let me go on anymore...

Yep. It's a random bloody scrawl on a wall in a later part of the game.

Spoiler:
GLaDOS promises cake (along with grief counseling, lol) throughout the game as a reward for completing the puzzles and tests. There's a section near the end right after she attempts to kill you the first time where you get to a section of the center with a lot of graffiti on the walls, that's one of the lines.

Actually, Set was deity that protected Ra's barque at night from Apep - there are depictions of Set fighting the Serpent.

Only in later times, with demonization of Set he slowly absorbed Apep's portfolio an traits finally taking it's role.

Derp Heresy session canceled. Together with linked BBQ. And I learned that after I finished cutting bacon into slices and packing it into the bag.

Yeah, I'd love to have them nearby, but if heat and humidity are to be avoided, this may not be the best place to move.

I do have a lot of friends that just set the AC to 68 degrees and call it good, though. :D

It's not funny if I have to explain the joke. :(

So I'll settle for explaining that the stuff in the bottles is really just Irn-Bru (Scotland's other national beverage of choice, tastes kinda like liquid sweets, which is a lot better than it sounds like), and that Fanny has a different meaning in British English than in American.
