Plus the judge who threatened to disqualify me.

I can't wait until he has a fortune and hosts the FAWTL convention.

I saw your FB post about the realities of writing income. So...maybe in 2123, when I have amassed enough in my savings account.

That article does not take into account the new paying (cash-money!) business of Vampire Diaries fanfiction. So get writing!

Does this new avatar emphasize boobage too much? My eyes keep getting drawn to the golden globes.

So we're within eight weeks of leaving this place and heading for parts unknown to find jobs there... when I get a call from a company here.

I'll interview, I guess, but I sure don't want to stay.

At least it will give you some interview experience. :)

You say that like it's a bad thing. Between you and lynora, this thread has gotten easy on the eyes. ..

I like boobs as much as the next person, but I honestly hadn't noticed any extra emphasis on the golden globes until you pointed it out, Treppa.......of course now I can't not see it, so not sure if that opinion counts any more. :P

Glad you like the new avatar, FHDM. ^.^

This desk is kicking my butt. The downside of Ikea trips....the assembly afterwards. And this is more pieces than most....I've assembled beds with less pieces than this desk.

I am an old hand at assembling those desks. I would love to give you a hand.

Hmm. Still no spin off thread? Y'all are slackin'. Must be busy with those 'real lives' thing I hear about.

I wish you could. The drawer glide thingies won't attach where they're supposed to and it's kind of impossible to hold them properly in place while attaching them unless you're some sort of octopus. :/

Another case of poor directions. This would have been much easier to attach before assembling the frame. Sigh. There's always one thing I miss when skimming the directions before getting started.

Blame Gary and his (mostly) stable forum software.

I have no idea what this "real life" thing is either, having never possessed one.

Awesome book. It's a shame none of the film attempts have gotten it right.

'Real life'? Is that something to eat?

Just finished an awesome round of Skyrim and it ended with the humorous assassination in RPG history. It goes something like this:

"You must've had all those annoying gods on your side to make it this far."

As Ffreja Three-Moons turns the target around and then plunges Hadhafang downwards into his sternum, I reply in her voice, "you know, I think you're right."

Are you saying you can't keep your drawers up? *titters*

I have emerged triumphant in my battle versus the desk. And after a few minutes rest and a beer I almost don't mind how bad my hands hurt....almost.

Aw. Now I feel bad for the post before this. :(

Yay for triumphing against the desk, though.

:::Cheers:::

Nothing ever worth doing is never obtain without a little aggression.

or

Ronin looks at Dr. Strange and says, "What are you doing to them (Ninjas of the Hand)?"

"It's simply a series of transient spells. They fall asleep and cry for them mothers."

Ronin replies, "You should try hitting them. Hitting is fun."

Yay! I got my shipping confirmation for my $200 subscription order this morning while at work (6.20am, 11 hrs ago). So I've had to know that I have the .pdfs and not be able to read them all day!

Gonna download them now and read them all after the kids are in bed tonight. :)

When the shipping notice is late, it kinda sucks a bit to be ahead of Paizo timezone wise, doesn't it?

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Wednesday! Or not so happy, as the case may be. The amount of crap I have to get done in order to make this move work is starting to get to me. Don't be surprised if you soon hear news reports of a zombie running through the streets of Philly, screaming like a banshee and yanking out what little hair he has left.

Scarab Sages

On the other hand, I received a good reminder of why I'm happy to be leaving here. Just yesterday I got word that a problem we had on some ships when I first started, one that I thought the work I was doing would take care of, has once again reared it's ugly head.

It's like all that work I did those years ago was for nothing......

Scarab Sages

Wish I could stick around longer, but I've got things to do. Later folks.

Same here. Lots of books on the shelf today.

Gratz on the desk job completion Lynora.

I'll have to pick up the superstar release as soon as the PDF is available =)

Drejk, know that feel bro.

Today's dream ended when I broke the talisman I had and teleported from modern world back to fantasy land I came from earlier.

I want one of those....

It was supposed to do something else.

I traveled to the other side of the map... world, with a particular mission but I got to the corresponding modern world part and messed up with some sort of military or para military operation. Which was linked somehow to the problem on the fantasy side.

*sigh*

Speaking with my father on Skype... Listening to his out-of-touch-with-the-world advice may cause headaches sometimes.

- Yeah, I sent an application for a nice job.
- You should go to them personally without waiting for invitation for an interview.

Yeah, like I shall pass the locked door that are opened with employee card and happen to catch the boss in his office without warning.

Started to rain. Just as I was going to go for a shopping. Tomorrow shops will be closed due to Corpus Christi holiday.

I ran into the same issues with being out of touch when my son was looking for a minimum-wage job. My experience was so much different when I was his age and no longer seems to apply to his situation.

Speaking personally, I do not believe it is possible to emphasize boobage too much. At least not in cartoon avatars. Although as Lynora pointed out, now I can't NOT notice, so my feelings may be moot.

:)

I have known friends in the real world who were so well endowed that physics caught up to them. ;P
(Reduction surgery or back surgery? When faced with those two choices, you do NOT ask a guy for his opinion! At least not college-age guys.)
;)

Whelp, last day of public school for the magelings. And the start of the stupidest, I mean BUSIEST month for me, (Orientations and dance shows, what a combo, bleech) So if you hear reports of explosions in Louisiana, it's just this mage blowing off steam with a few fireballs in a swamp! ;D
