Goooo Aeglos and Sabine!

Meh, so that was 7 days. Hopefully now I can be more motivated and productive. Already been so far today (ish).

But Beer Festival at a Cathedral on Monday, somehow it was actually sunny (& very busy) Although there was a limited time to actually drink (11:30-5pm), so you had to make the best use of your tokens. Overall an excellent time was had, I might have even volunteered to run a Vampire LARP (which will never happen).

Sorry about the clothes. Guess there's one at every wedding.

Beer festival in May? Nice to hear not everyone thinks it has to be in Oktober.

It's meant to be Wedding Dress, not a Birthday Suit.

:P

Well first one was in March, then there's that one in Ripon. Then my local village has one in the church-yard in September. (and there's a few more that I probably won't attend).

But stilling next to grave-stones with a pint (or a half) in hand watching ferret racing, teddy's being thrown from belfries or just talking with a drunk vicar is a bit surreal.

Sounds a bit League of Gentlemenish.

I'd kinda like to see someone try to start an outdoor beer-festival in October or November somewhere in Lappland.

Sure there is.

Yay Aeglos & Sabine!

Happy Shackles Da,... I mean WEDDING day! ;P

And many happy returns for many years to come! :)

(And,... welcome to the Club Aeglos! I shall toast the gleeful demise of your freedom properly once I return home to my stash of cider.)

;)

Wow, SO many posts, and I haven't had my coffee yet,...

I shall remedy THAT immediately. Excuse me,...

Ah, That's better.

Coffee good,...

And I've lost track, but I'm pretty sure that I've been using the same avatar for at least 7 years. :/

Silver Crusade

Best wishes, aeglos and Sabine!

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

Dinner plans today with my cousin who I have not seen in some time. I love how my social calendar has filled out lately.

Well I'm there so it's 'League of Extraordinary Gentlemanish'.

Spoiler:
BWAHAHAHAHAaaa... no way can I say that lie with a straight face.

What do we want?

Evidence-based change!

When do we want it?

After peer review!

Congratulations aeglos and Sabine!

I was able to shave 7 mins off of my 2000 yard swim time. Just under an hour and I swam 80 lengths of a 25 yards.

Very good WoodRaven!

I, actually have no idea what my best time ever was.
;P
I just used to swim the olympic-sized pool at the university for fun. I would swim for 1-1/2 hours, doing as many laps as I could.

But I'm fairly certain that I never swam 80 lengths in an hour. :/

Iirc an Olympic pool is 50 yards or meters, so 40 lengths is equal to my 80.

That sounds about right. (I don't memorize pool sizes) ;P

I do recall swimming 60 or so lengths in about 1-1/2 hours once. (I was actually putting some effort into it) So I may have come closer than I thought? ;)

Swimming is my favorite exercise. I enjoy martial arts for exercise too, but you can't beat swimming.

I mean come on, how else can you get a serious work out for 1-2 hours, and NOT stink at the end of it?!? :)

Roar.

Also, Ragadolf, if you like martial arts you should come to IATC 2013.

Taig, I already see a new avatar with your name on it =)

Once I can modify my avatar, since the system thinks someone else has the same name. Grrrrrr....

So in celebration of new avatar day - and to identify myself a little better with my new face, AND because I've been lazy about getting it done since the requisite Kingmaker sessions finished - another couple of my Dark Song. A couple of primarily-ranged combatants, one a mobile skirmisher and ranged volleyer in the vein of a Manticore, the other a tactical psionics blaster and area-controller with the uncanny ability to outright ignore the silence that vexes the rest of the Song so well.

Good stuff, Orthos!

I'm not doing to bad for only swimming for a month. I could swear I'm a mix of dwarf and undine. I'm hoping this weekend I can make it to 100 lengths or 2500 yards. I want to be able to go for 2 miles by mid June. That would be 144 lengths.

That's... bizarre. If you had less posts I'd ask if you were messing around with the capitalization (trying to change taig to Taig) but that shouldn't be an issue. Toss it up to Website Feedback?

Thanks =)

One more remaining in that batch - the Chorus, the boss of Candlemere - then I'll start working on new ones to post up that I haven't yet run through game.

I might be to blame.

P.S.

BluePigeon, if you stick salt in your eye it might help with the pinkeye.

It might also make you blind, but it might help with the pinkeye.

First PBP combat begins in ELTN! (Apologies again for the delay X_X)

This reminds me to go see whose turn it's supposed to be in AoA.

I think we're on hold until Journeyman gets back. =/
