Yep, that's KM in a nutshell. The AP gives you the bare-bones basics and a story to work with, but there's a LOT left open-ended for the GM to make up, alter, fiddle with, and homebrew on their own.

At this point I'm not even using the book's statblocks anymore, thanks to my party being a good 3 (and nearing 4) levels ahead of the expected curve for this chapter. It's giving me plot skeletons to flesh out, NPCs names and personalities and basics to build from, and things like that; everything else I'm cooking up myself.

You're a lethal chef.

A tad bored. Doesn't help that I'm sleepy enough to be loopy, but not sleepy enough to sleep.

Procrastinating writing up the horribad experience with the idiotic mentor teacher.

Still not sure how he gets to keep teaching.

Oh, and the mentor teacher was 2 years younger than me. Kinda embarassing realization.

This guy gives the geek community a bad name.

Teachers are professional geeks. Plus he had comic book stuff all over the room. At first I thought he would be cool to work with.

Then he started speaking.

Ugh.

HUZZAH FOR AEGLOS AND HIS WONDERFUL BRIDE!! ALL THE BEST TO BOTH OF YOU!! I'M VERY HAPPY FOR BOTH OF YOU.

Scarab Sages

Also, good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Wednesday! Yes it is! Despite the gloomy weather. Because today aeglos is getting his shackl.....I mean wedding ring...yeah, that's it.....wedding ring.....

Scarab Sages

Yesterday evening, Charlie realized we had no bananas. His mother told him we'd have to go to the store to get some. He said he'd go and would be right back.

Scarab Sages

He even tried to get out the front door.

Scarab Sages

I used to like Tom Hanks' kid. But after his guest role on NCIS last night, I like him less.

Yes, I know....it's just a part he's playing. But I prefer to be illogical about this.

Scarab Sages

It's all good though. Mark Harmon's gonna b$!$* slap him into next season.

Scarab Sages

Harmon's been one of my favorite actors since the movie Summerschool. The best was his character's dog - Wondermutt!

I shall drink a toast to my friend aeglos and his bride. It'll have to be later though, since I'm at work.

Scarab Sages

But only because I don't have any booze here.

Scarab Sages

All right folks. Need more coffee and to get to working on stuff. Later.

I just like the "...Oh, you're precious" look it has.

So was listening to my MP3 player en route to work today. Sonata Arctica's "Boy Who Wanted to Be a Real Puppet" came on. Had read a little about Soulbound Dolls a few days ago. Everything clicked. 0_0

Oh come now. It's a small role on an alphabet soup cop show. Hopefully he'll go into feature filmsafter this.
