Once again the rebellious grass has been decapitated! All calls for extended length and seedpods have been crushed! I have made a lawn, and called it peace.

ALL HAIL EMPEROR MONKEY!

Been raining here since well before I woke up. Nice and cool though, steady in the mid-50s.

And there's a cardinal that's been hanging out just outside my window all day. Silly bird.

Kingmaker tonight! The Duchess will be giving a speech, since Queen Mab decided to pay the kingdom a visit last session, and then after that the party's going adventuring again I believe. Chapter Two is almost over =) Looking very strongly forward to the climactic Hargulka showdown, and even more so to the insanity that is Chapter Three.

Had the most insane Kingmaker tonight. Random encounter table rolled an Ancient Black Dragon.

How it went down:
My party's victory might have been an error in reading the rules, because judging from what we read and understood, a Huge Air Elemental that the Cleric had summoned should be able to trap a Huge Dragon in its Whirlwind despite not giving all the penalties from doing so.

Anyway, the Dragon failed to get out of the Whirlwind so it got stuck in it. The mighty beast's breath weapon managed to kill the Ranger's animal companion while the Necromancer was busy casting Fly on the Monk and the Ranger. I was rolling the Monk's Flurry of Blows (empowered by a Holy Amulet of Mighty Fists as well as levels of the Brother of the Seal PrC), doing a nice 100 damage. The most epic part was what was basically the Ranger avenging her fallen companion.

The player rolled a crit 3 times in a row on the dragon, making it deader than dead as the Greatsword pierced a wound the Monk had left on its back, breaking the spine and then reaching through to the beast's heart. The total damage from the two attacks that did hit was well over 200, and was added to the Hall of Fame. Needless to say, Saya the Catfolk Ranger is still the most badass Pathfinder / D&D character in my tables. Her animal companion Pochi (a wolf) got revived as well.

I ended up not driving around doing errands. Instead, I manned the front door and kept people from rushing in while I counted out the number of people who went through the door. All 1,334 of them...

You kidding? The way our party works, we'll take out the boss no problem and get stuck on a low-level mook.

You all gone die!

Most of us already have!

Yup, only the Dhampir Rogue is still in her original body.

The Centaur Barbarian/Cavalier is now a dragon.
The Human Samurai is now a Naga.
The Half-Elf Magus is now a Fey.
And lastly the Human Oracle is now an Aranea.

Fun with reincarnate!

Going to do a module tonight to get back into gaming, then start off skulls and shackles in the next week. The party is going to be a half elf rogue, an elven sorcerer, human cleric of besmara and an undine barbarian(sea reaver archetype)

Just went to see Iron Man 3. Afterward, I was half expecting Ashton Kutcher to burst through the screen and say I'd been *punk'd*.

I'm surprised nobody faved the post involving a badass Ranger critting a Dragon to death o_o

Anyway, my other group's starting to disperse. I'm kinda worried about how that'll change things for us.

Happy Zombieday!

Alrighty, I know taig's been nice enough to link theses for me in the past but I thought I'd throw this one down since it's the last in my Shield Wall series.

Sunderday Shields

And if you click on the linky at the bottom that says Sunderday (in purple) then you can see all of my other posts to date.
EDIT: Actually I can just do that for you...
Feel free to leave me a comment. I'd especially like to hear if you used anything in your games, be it as a player or GM. :)

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! It is, unfortunately, Monday. A bit chilly this morning, but not too bad. And it's supposed to be nice and sunny again.

Scarab Sages

Bottled my mead yesterday, as those on FB might have seen. Also imbibed some myself, as they might also have seen.

Scarab Sages

I may have indulged a bit too much. One of the two bottles I designated as absolutely for me is mostly empty now.
