Nekkid World Saving or wearing the perverted suit?

Now I want to write/play with something taking place into a far future transhumanist sf with Dyson Spheres, Matrioshka Computing Hypernodes, Starlifting and other such ultra-technological wonders.

I have no idea what I am doing, or feeling...

They're predicting we'll be working Saturday this week as well. Hoping to shave off enough of the stuff on my shelves to not need to.

Online dating, round 2. Two profiles completed. Let's see if this doesn't blow up in my face.

My thoughts are with those in W. Texas after the explosion. I take it no FaWtLies are out that way?

In other news, gaming tonight. We have 1 session to catch & deal with a murderer; then bring down a Film Studio.

Scarab Sages

Hello FAWTLY Folk. It is a decidedly not good morning. Wife and I both went to bed with sore throats that only got worse over night. And I think the boy has one as well, because he was drinking water like it was going out of style and was extraordinarily whiny this morning.

I blame FHDM.

Scarab Sages

Hope I'm feeling better for later tonight. We're supposed to get together for another session of our PF FR game.

Hope you feel better soon & that it was only a bit of dryness in the air.

Scarab Sages

In response to the recent car break-ins in my neighborhood, myself and my three remaining Town Watch compadres have patrolled the last two nights. Hoepfully, with the cold weather leaving we'll be patrolling on a more regular basis.

We're also considering having another meeting to address some of the issues before they get out of hand, and maybe recruit some more members. The problem is people get complacent. They leave their car doors unlocked. That's the kind of things some criminals love - the easy hit (so to speak). They just go around and check every car - looting all the unlocked ones. Minimum effort. Minimum risk.

Scarab Sages

On the positive side - if I do make it to the game tonight, we've leveled up to 5th. That means my wizard finally gets a couple of 3rd level spells. I picked two conjuration spells - Pellet Blast and Mad Monkeys.

Of the two, I'm most eager to try out Mad Monkeys. I'm guessing this probably does not surprise.

Might go for a BBQ party tomorrow.

Still need to prepare for Kingmaker at saturday...

I still cannot believe anyone would leave a car door unlocked. Even though I'm in a relatively low-crime area in the UK, everyone always locks their car doors.

(Of course my friend had his motorbike stolen. Then the replacment one nicked too, within a week of getting it. (He could see the foot-prints in the snow).

Convince the studio executives to fund a Terry Gilliam movie.

Brilliant. We were just going to expose their sabotage & murderous schemes. (if the GM lets us)

I'm glad it made you laugh. I got just a little punchy towards the end of working on the pyranhaconda. :)

Sorry, but your unrepentant support for winter, and all the evils that it brings, makes you culpable.

But in my experience, it's spring thaw that brings these things on. Blame spring, not winter, which is innocent of all charges!

One step closer to my goal. Swam 950 yards this morning, time for a nap before work. Maybe I can get to 2000 by the end of the month.

(to self)Inhale a deep breath, keep it for a moment and then slowly exhale... Repeat a few times.

Did I mentioned that my computer started to act weirdly? Because it gone and died today... Just as I got up after a nap. Oh, wait, but you said that before on Tuesday... Nope, on Tuesday I was speaking about laptop... Today I am speaking about reserve computer I was using since that time.

On the one hand, it's true that spring makes allergies kick in like hell.

On the other, winter is guilty of many equally irritating things.

Clearly the solution is to ban all seasons except autumn.
