The problem with a manager like that is that they don't change. You're being set up to fail and there is no reason for her to stop. Take it from me, you need to think of yourself first and get out of there. Trying to be a good soldier will only wreck your career.
That's exactly what I said I felt like day before yesterday and she responded that if that was true, I would have been fired by now- she has enough on me to write me up if she wants. Some things I can see, other things are more petty. But you have a point. It's just not worth it anymore.
Good luck to you, Freehold.

Agreed, best off moving on. And truly genuine best wishes to get out of their to go somewhere that you'll be appreciated for the great man you are.

Good luck with job FHDM.

I guess I just really needed a lazy day.

Good luck with the search, FHDM. Get out of there.

What FAWTLies use Hero Lab? I'm considering it, but I'm wondering if any of you have tips/advice on how to use it, what are the best things to buy, etc.

Hello!

That reminds me, I've got to pre-order your adventure.

Now I want to make an adventure entitled, "You had me at Hell! Oh!"

I shall begin making maps right away!
Now I wonder if Mapperzombie takes requests.

As far as I know, he does, and the maps are well worth it. :D

Indeed. I do take requests on occasion. Zombie loves making maps.

Cool, I might contact you in the future for some =) What info do I need to send? (Format, etc.?)

I love Hero Lab and I have dabbled a little with the editor to make new races. I highly recommend it. For straight character creation, the learning curve is fairly easy.

I recommend the getting all of the hard cover modules (core + bestiaries + APG + ultimate books). I stay away from the companion stuff. I haven't found a need for that material.

Today I learned that my 10th grade English teacher has been to PaizoCon.

I really wish I'd discovered PF BEFORE graduating. Before graduating high school, for that matter.

But nope, I get to learn my teachers are cool after I become their colleague.

It works out, though. My very presence makes them take age penalties.

I'd possibly have to do that now. But I'd take solace in the fact that there'd be colleagues who'd have to save versus accepting that they'd had me in class eight years before that - and that I'm 34, and they're still older than my dad.

(A for effort to anyone who manages to decipher that sentence.)

And huh, turns out if I want to not hear the phone, I can just leave it in my winter jacket.

Heh. It came up today in the context of me getting to school early enough to swing by and bother the teacher. She was helping a student and left to get something; student asked who I was.

"I'm a sub. I just had Mrs. H when I was your age, and I like to make her feel old when I get sent here."
"Yes. She does."

Heh. Poor Mrs. H.

Well don't wear the new moniker when you go to play with your friends, I don't want you getting it all dirty.

(Man, that show has not aged well. I saw a re-run a few weeks ago, it looked really dated.)

In other news, I really hate reading RIP threads. Even ones for people that I don't know,.
