we just had leftovers from yesterday
we made beef Rouladen (beef seasoned with mustard and rolled with pickles and onions, slow cooked over 70minutes in red wine, root vegetables and broth) with dumblings in a napkin and CH's brussels sprouts+veggies with maple syrup
the meat was a bit chewy, maybe we should have cooked it longer,
the dumblings where a bit dense because I had spilled half of the beaten egg white which would have made them fluffy
the veggies where hard but the sprouts ok, the syrup did not came through much (help, CH)
today I roasted the leftover sprouts+veggies and deglazed them with more syrup, now they where great, the combination is really good, thank you Max

Somehow I had forgotten to send this about six hours ago. So I guess I hope everyone is looking forward to a nice dinner, and that those with kids enjoyed their happiness with the celebrations. Off to nap and then eat! Yum!

Which I probably will have to do for fourth monster won't make anywhere near the 750 words target on its own.
