Aw. I would feel so bad if I developed an allergy to cats. :(
Get one of the genetically engineered anti allergy ones! Soft kitty,
Robot kitty,
Little ball of gears.
Warm kitty,
Fuzzy kitty,
With little robotic ears.

My dad once told me "Son, whenever you feel nervous or intimidated by someone, just try to imagine them experiencing explosive diarrhea".
Most of the hostile posters try to make themselves look big and menacing; but if you put it into the perspective of some random individual typing on a PC, probably unaware of the tone he's using and likely writing in a moment of high rustling of jimmies, its easier to see a post for what it really is and defuse any strong emotions it may generate.
I think you and I would get along. My extreme patience and even-temperedness sometimes frustrates people.
Also, your dad's advice is priceless. dammit ch, stop being so agreeable! Your company makes the food and walks we enjoy when we hang out damnably pleasant!!

On the other note, I don't seem to have as much trouble being upset by threads as a lot of others I have noticed.
My natural speak-upiness does make me want to jump in when I see something that irks me, but I just don't have the time to read very many threads, and so I guess i'm just missing out on all of the potential. For good and bad :)
I don't have to hide anything! I don't have time to read them anyway! ;P
And HAPPY FREAKIN' FRIDAY!
(Thank the Lord. Feel free to thank whomever you prefer.) :)
Only 50 more weeks to survive for this year,... :(

today "temple of elemental evil"
tomorrow: annual rock club visit to celebrate Sabine's and my best friend's brithday - in normal years that would be the only time I dance, this year will be different I guess (wedding dance lessons starts in february)
No, not gonna post what that poster I saw on another site made me want to write in response. Let's just say it involved lying about my sexual orientation and some other stuff. Didn't write anything, though - there's enough jerkery on the internet without me adding to it.
doctor_wu wrote: Lynora have you seen this website for autism and other things awesome website. No, I hadn't seen it. Thanks for the link. Looks like there's a lot of good resources and discussions there.
In other news I need to get myself to the barber. I'm beginning to look like the wrong member of the Jam - like Bruce Foxton rather than Paul Weller.

OTOH some people are just a sad sick waste of skin and oxygen.

My personal belief is that everyone has something good to contribute. You just need to find the way to get it out of them.

I tend to agree that everyone could contribute something worthwhile to existence. Sadly many people choose to take far more than they will ever contribute. Some people are just so toxic that the world is a better place without them. It may not be my place to take them out of this world, but I'm largely done pretending that they are OK.

Is everything okay?

"Why a spoon cousin? Why not an axe?" Because Trog will eat anything!
(apologies, I failed the quote, but Trog is amoral rather than immoral, and perennially hungry...and willing to eat anything, so it hurting more wouldn't work for her!)
