I've finally waded through the Sparknotes of every book on the recommended study guide. Now for poetic meters and figurative language terminology.

Oh yeah, one last time - JAPAN ROCKS!!!What are the bars like?
Very cool, for the most part. Lots of American influence. A lot of them are "Buy me drink, sailor" bars. We had great service this time around, because they're currently operating under a curfew - no drinks served to personnel past 10 pm and they have to be back home by 11 pm. After that, folks like us had the bars all to ourselves.
Someone tells me we closed several of them.
Also: lots of karoake. I'm pretty awesome at it.
I wonder if there will be karaoke at Paizocon this year?
Really wishing my English classes had actually covered poetry in high school. But I suppose this is what I get for trying to test into an endorsement without the college background for it.
...that's what that is? Heck, that's easy!
Granted, I'm going to feel pretty silly when the world ends right after I take this stupid test. All that cramming for naught.

I contribute to karaoke by not singing. It's better for everyone, really.
I am running one live game, running a second as PbP, playing in a third, and working intermittently on writing two separate stories. Why does my brain keep wanting me to start up yet another game?

I hate karaoke,
but on the Weihnachtsmarkt, we had great fun singing old hessian songs in a wooden hut with strangers, of course we where drunkthe best part:
at 9 o clock the market closed, last orders, at a quater past 9 the police opend the door and told us it was time to leave
the whole hut burst into a song called "Austrinke, Austrinke" lit.:
drinking up, drinking up must be allowed,
drinking up, drinking up, we want to do
the police men tried to look stern
failed
laughed
shrugged
and went away :-D
of course as lawfull germans we all left the hut quietly 10 minutes later

My sense of direction weirds some people out. Like when they say, "We'll meet at my house. You need directions?" and I reply, "No, I was there that one time 8 years ago."
I have no way to explain it. I only need to go someplace one time and I can always find it again, and as long as I am outside and in a somewhat familiar area I can tell you what cardinal direction I am facing, even if it is overcast.
Does this make me a ranger?
I guess it does. I can only tell cardinal directions if I'm orienting myself via the nearest highway.
I can't even do that >_> I need step-by-step, turn-by-turn directions as precise as you can get (turn left on X road, go Y blocks and turn right on Z street) or I will get lost, until I've driven it four or five times. DRIVEN, not ridden as a passenger.

I have quite good orientation but nowhere near the CH talent.

It's a good thing my sense of direction is good, seeing as I apparently get less and less able to take in alcohol as I get older.
