Fair to middlin.
Wife has a tentative job offer that may have us in Houston by next March, with moving expenses paid if it all works out. So we're keeping our fingers crossed.

Adjusting Opera interface is a pain in the lower backside. What are you using to remove Google Chrome before re-installing it? That may be part and parcel your problem.
Probably the problem lies with the system profile or something like that. The windows settings were reset when I started the computer and Google Chrome directory was nowhere to be found. And when I turned the computer again when I returned home, the windows settings and Opera settings (I haven't done much beyond changing those) reset as if the computer restored windows from last backup (or what's-its-name).
At the moment I started asking friends if they don't have spare parts so I could assemble a new "old reserve computer" which would also happen to be my gaming computer.
If I manage to assemble anything remotely working I might give Windows 8 free version try (assuming it can be still downloaded for free). Or ask friends for some noob-friendly Linux version.

wanders in and flops down in a Comfy Chair
Whatever genius in my library's parent agency decided that our performance evaluation cycle should run on the same calendar as our fiscal year deserves to be thumped on repeatedly with my Commemorative Cluebat (TM). Really, dealing with reams of paperwork and whiny employees while we're also trying to wrap up end of year budget issues and dealing with grumpy procurement people is SO not conducive to a positive work environment.
Oh well, six workdays left until I go on leave for two weeks. I can cope 'til then.

The disarray was what caught me. Wish I had room for them all.

Anyway, as I was typing before being rudely interrupted....
Left work around 1030 yesterday because I was feeling like crap. Went home and crashed on the sofa until about 1630, then went and picked up the boy.
Charlie was a right little turd last night. Everything I gave him to eat ended up on the floor. So I finally had enough, brought him upstairs, gave him a bath, got him ready for bed, and put him down.
Ended up back in bed around 2130 and slept through to my alarm this morning. Still feeling a bit run down, but much better than yesterday.

It reminds me of this "art" they had in the Urban Outfitters food court building here at the base. It was a kind of Christmas tree made out of stacked up paperbacks. I kept reading through some of the titles to see if there was anything worth pulling out.

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Scott was forced to pull an all-nighter when his son Charlie devoured a container of Folgers. Meanwhile, Kirk's campaign against termites took a turn for the bizarre when the insects began using coordinated tactics against him. And, across town, Max's night out on the town with....No, wait! taht's my soap opera!
