I propose we pass legislation banning the existence of time before 8 AM.
Thanks everyone for the condolences. Considering that my aunt just wanted to turn the cat outside (mind you, a cat who'd spent 13+ years in a one-room apartment), we did pretty well by him.

hi everyone,
we have spend a good day picking elderberries in the hedges, colleting apples in dads little fruit tree meadow then macking apple-elderberry-jam
Aeglos, lovely. What a wonderful and productive way to spend a day.
COOKING QUESTION:
we bought a sweet potato out of curiosity, thinking that we could find some recepies in our many cooking books but we could not find one recipe
any idea (and recipe) for us, US FaWtL-folks ?

I just don't have the mental fortitude to do a blitz on a Sunday afternoon. But on the brighter side of life, my mother and I will be using Skype soon. I really miss home.
Anyways, how about if I scream very loudly?
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

Fried and cover in gravy is my favorite recipe.
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Sunday. AT least it's somehwat happy for me since I don't have to go to that damnable ship today.
Still, we actually finished up in a better position last night than I thought we would. And I'm going to make some adjustments to the work schedule that will help us get more done each night.
But today.....today I have no plans beyond maybe washing some clothes, eating some Popeyes, maybe getting a haircut, drinking some beer, and eventually watching the True Blood season finale.
Considering how awesome HBO does with turning books into kick ass shows, I propose they be given the rights to the works of REH and go to town.
Can you imagine a series on Solomon Kane? Bran Mak Morn? Kull? Conan? Sailor Steve Costigan? El Borak?
There's years worth of episodes in them short stories!!!!
dreams of awesome TV shows
They could call it "The REH Variety Hour".
Come, FAWTLY Folk! Dream with me! If enough of us dream it, it will become reality!
Blergh. Somehow managed to forget to drink today. Very bad headache now.
I thought the normal reason for weekend headaches included drinking too much, but this is the third Sunday in a row I've done this. Weird.
it has.
Been a few months. Haha.

Why yes.
My suggestion is the Sweet Potato Biscuits since you have but the one.
but the traditional way to typically serve them is in Candied Yams though usually only on Thanksgiving.
If you but had a lot of them then you could have made a pie. I am not really a fan of the pies myself.
Just returned from a session. Managed to get to home before it started raining. Wasn't so lucky on my way to the session, however...
Friend brought her very young cat on the session. She was lovely and gathered lots of attention, love and abuse. And for a moment the kitty was actually the EVIL GM lap cat (ah, the joy of sitting in turned around armchair while petting the cat, for a moment I felt like an Evil Genius!)
And after returning to home I have learned that RBL goes out of business...
Now I seriously think about not bothering with VP system anymore and finally start a new Fading Suns campaign using GURPS Lite.
I feel a bit disheartened by the combat during the session. I think I made it too boring and repetitive. There was no feel of fighting tiny vestige of dead godling...
Last sunday friend mentioned that maybe there will be vacant place for a two-week job at exposition in another city. Today, however, he told me that his bosses already picked up someone else for that job. He wasn't especially amused by prospect of sharing the room with stranger but had little to say in that matter.
I ate too much snacks and sweets at the session. At least when comparing to my regular diet.
A new OGLAF is up. Not as good as the one two weeks ago but better than the one from the last week.
Need to return to GMing something beyond Pathfinder. I might be getting fed up with d20 mechanics.

FASA had a bunch of great games. Some days I miss the 80's and 90's.
An hour and a half, what do you people have lives or something?
