Scarab Sages

And now it seems I've forgotten my clothing.

Scarab Sages

WOOHOO!!! I'M INVISIBLE!!!!

If its about Immortals. Yes. It was good it had a magic bow that could blast through and shatter solid granite. Poseidon favorite trident was the next best weapon after the Hammer of Zeus.

Okay, a ray of sunshine did the impossible and worked its way into my cell phone.

I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon for a security firm. It's an entry level position but it's a paycheck I need and can use.

So, here's a toast to a successful interview and to all the positive ways I can get.

Congratz BP, good luck =D

I sense a new chapter in the story of life.

E7, because we're friends ... I'm not going to inform you what that might be from the Urizen POV. This is your baby girl.

I had to spend two action points to boost my will save roll to make it egregiously high.

Now, to the next post.

:)

Hehe, btwn me and her three older brothers...

Nah, she has a good head on her shoulders. I just get worried about her getting in over it without backup.

Nah, it's normal.

It's weird. Being up there, in the midst of it all, they all look like kids. Maybe, because I'm pushing 50. Maybe, because I have a child among them. The students ran the spectrum. Some girl across the hall from my daughter looked to be 14. Maybe it's because it's the engineering dorm. Meh.

So, BP has an interview, Trinam's wife has an interview, and now my ex has an interview scheduled tomorrow as well.

Wish him luck. The sooner he sorts out his finances, the better off I will be! (I know he's working hard on the job hunt, so I don't hold too much against him, but a job would go a long way to resolving a lot of lingering financial issues.)

Heh,
Congrats all! And Good Luck!

I can't go job interview.

My job keeps me too busy to go look for a real job! ;P

Good luck on the job interviews for Trinam's wife, BP, and CH's ex. :)

I've been freaking out because the funds from my student loans still aren't available and I need textbooks like tomorrow. But I found most of what I need is available as a seven day free trial ebook so that will buy me a week for the funds to come through and I'll still be able to complete my assignments in the meantime...so it looks like I can relax and just work on my pre-class assignments now instead. :)

And maybe, just maybe, get my PBPs started up again since I had to put everything on hold while dealing with bureaucracy hell.

Ugh. Monday.

Really? I do not have that experience. I take classes with kids fresh out of high school...some of them look older than I do. o.O

I am not good at discerning how old people are.

takes a break from soothing move anxiety to ask a pressing question

Is it bad that I'm really tempted to take myself to see Bourne Legacy again this week solely because I feel a need for another shirtless Jeremy Renner fix?

(Seriously... haven't had a celebrity crush this intense since my Ralph Macchio obsession in 8th grade.)

(And... I've just seriously dated myself, haven't I?)

I was maybe 8 when those movies were big. Have I mentioned that I love the fact that you're older than me? sets black manliness to Carl weathers levels

Hmm... I'm not sure how to respond to that. :)

Not that I mind getting older. I'm loving life at 40+, in spite of occasionally wishing for my 20 year-old knees again. I'm just used to being the youngest person in my social group-- I've always tended to gravitate towards people who are older than me.

(I guess I should get used to socializing with younger folks, though-- I'm going to need younger friends to take care of me when I'm old and infirm, since I don't have kids. ;))

Hurt Locker was the bomb.

Did I just say that?

Same here, actually. It's only relatively recently that I've started to enjoy spending time with people younger than myself.

Worry not, as my spokesmodel you shall have an EXCELLENT retirement package. Golden parachutes for everyone!!!!

I'm scared if my kids are gonna take care of me.

Oh we'll take care of you, allright.

GO TO BED! NOW!!!

Nuh-uh!

GO TO BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!

That's like so not gonna happen.

Actually, bed does sound like a good idea after having been up for 21 hours straight.

...Damn I wish I was 25 again and could stay up for 48 hours, and be refreshed by a 4-hour kip.

G'night axe-shaft as we say up here.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it here before, but in case any of you missed it I shall do so again. Dead Gentlemen/Zombie Orpheus Entertainment are trying to raise funds for a third Gamers movie. There's only about a week and a half left to contribute, so please do if you can.

Here is the link.

Please help.

Tip if that 12 year old boy grows up to be a geek, NEVER EVER PLAY trivial pursuit with him. You will never win.

Wow, quite a quiet night (that or no Aberzombie posts ;p)

Anyway good morning all, hope it'll be a better one than your last. Especially if it was fawesome.

Scarab Sages

Mrgh?

Scarab Sages

I got an excuse, though. I was working.

Scarab Sages

Leastways, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Scarab Sages

Good night. Sleep tight. Let the zombie horde bite.

The Exchange

Good morning.

Rappan Athuk, without a trap finder... I'm thinking I see a flaw in party the make up. (Currently Sorc, Ftr, Orcl and Magus.)

It's not that I want to kill them off... exactly.

The Exchange

But, still a few days to worry about that. Maybe I'll NPC somekind of trap finder. Hmmm..... Suddenly, he has an idea.

Maybe Fighter should become high Char, high Con, halfling or orc with sacred tattoo alterante racial trait from APG?

"Trap? What trap? I didn't felt anything!"
