Naked NYC trip planning ftw.

I don't like disney land even though it is close to me.

You know, Joss Whedon frozen and encased in carbonite would make a KICKASS living room table.

I'd freeze Alton Brown for my kitchen table and Zuckerberg for my computer desk. I think that would be pretty kickass.

And I would choose Playmates from Playboy.

Just saying....

Sweet! Then it's on. As we get later in the week, we'll pin down when.

And don't worry about the naked post... We'll accommodate whatever you're into.

Well, I've been fiddling with it for ages. I've thought it was out of date device drivers, my new monitor frakking things up, dust in the case, and possibly goblins. In the end the gpu was running at about 90 degrees Celcius while I was doing nothing more than browsing the internet. :/ I could have bought some thermal compound and tried to see if the heat sink wasn't correctly connected anymore, but hell, this is a dell, they use cheap stock parts anyway.

So I just bought and installed a new graphics card. It's not super top of the line, but it's still quite a bit better than my old one. And runs at much better temperatures so far. Yay!

I have to play through as super paragon. Then as an uber jerk.

I"m trying soldier. It's HARD. Biotics is soooo much more fun.

I'll probably be banned from here soon, so hit me up on FB or get my number from FHDM.

Just delete the posts yourself, he'll have got the message. You're cooler than that. :)

I could see a line of "frozen in carbonite" figures and figurines. Start with Luke Skywalker, sort of a "what if." Then other Sci Fi characters. Malcom Reynolds ect.. then go Fantasy, Frozen Frodo anyone? Then anyone else you could think of, George Washington. I honestly could seem them selling.

*bangs head against wall*

If anyone needs me, I'm going to play Sam and Max for the next two hours then collapse to sleep. Stupid-funny beats stupid-stubborn any day of the week.

Sorry about your dog Patrick. :(

Survived trip up north. Met Dad's new girlfriend. Seems alright if a bit shy. Wondering if we can keep her but not him. We were there for two days and apparently one day of good behavior was all he had in him. Bryce on the other hand was an absolute angel for this trip.

Going to bed grumpy. This won't end well.

Just got back from Dark Knight Rises. Made sure we sat right by an emergency exit, spent the first ten minutes watching said exit. Once the paranoia passed, I greatly enjoyed the movie.

Y'know,....I don't want to go to movies now because I don't want to be fondled by security.

I am a sad monkey today. My faithful companion George passed away in his sleep early this morning. It's quite a shock, he had shown no signs of illness, other than a lack of appetite which I put down to the temperature around here lately. God speed you on your next adventure, my fuzzy baby. :'(

I'm so sorry, Patrick. It's awesome that he got to live his life with you, and that you loved each other so much. Dogs are so much better than us in some ways, I feel sometimes... I'm sure if dogs could talk to us they'd say that to have been a faithful companion to the very end is the very best destiny a dog could have. You're awesome for giving him that, and I'm sure he was awesome too.

May he run beside you again in Valhalla, and may you one day slip him bacon at the foot of Odin's great feast table.

QFT.

Yesterday afternoon was quite... Amusing? Nah, it's not the right word to describe it. Colorful? Better.

Spoiler:
In the afternoon I heard some argument outside the window - after some mentions of Police fell on my ears I decided to look: neighbour from the apartment on my floor (first floor) was arguing with neighbour from apartment just below his (ground floor). From shreds of what I heard I pieced together that, uh, his fiance is hanging from their window and her leg are dangling in front of the second neighbour's window... What the hell?

Ok, the first floor isn't very high so the fall should not kill her, but she put her feet on the grating over the window to support herself - if she fell she would probably fell to the back and possibly hit the ground with back and/or head. If she managed to avoid that she would probably broke her legs.

Sooo, the neighbour from lower floor called for Police and tried to explain the situation. A few minutes later came two firefighter cars, a medical ambulance and (few minutes later) police... Apparently the dispatcher understood that someone got impaled on the grating and hanged from it. The key is that the girl was helped down by some neighbours and their friends before all firefighters came and run away and her fiance went looking after her.[

After few more minutes she came back crying - doctor came to her to check her together with police officers.

All the neighbours had a lot of speculation what actually happened - her fiance told the neighbour he was speaking with initially that she was cleaning windows and slipped. Yeah, right, except all the windows in our building open inside and if she stood on the windowsill it is would unlikely that she would end hanging from it.

But...but...but that's the best part ;p

Drejk,

My guess is narcotics were involved. Nobody tries to commit suicide from a first-floor window, and if it was domestic abuse next door, you might have heard it (or already know about it by a history of events.) Or perhaps an attempt to ninja escape a cold-turkey detox-vigil.

So Strange!!

Well, Max's vacation down to Florida took a turn for the bizzare when the entire state was overrun by mutant jellyfish emerging from the sea to harvest the state's orange tree crops. Meanwhile, Heath's trip to the mall to purchase a new pair of shoes ended in jailtime when he ran afoul of the mall cops and refused to submit himself for a body cavity search. And across town, police and fire units had to be called after Jason decided to experiment with....No, wait! That's my soap opera.
