Couldn't resist. I was going to solicit vacation ideas for a poor/stressed tree but thought that nekkid solication was too easy. However appropriate.

Well, Max's vacation down to Florida took a turn for the bizzare when the entire state was overrun by mutant jellyfish emerging from the sea to harvest the state's orange tree crops. Meanwhile, Heath's trip to the mall to purchase a new pair of shoes ended in jailtime when he ran afoul of the mall cops and refused to submit himself for a body cavity search. And across town, police and fire units had to be called after Jason decided to experiment with....No, wait! That's my soap opera.
This sounds awesome!

I agree. Zombie you really should take a crack at this.

It certainly can't turn out worse than the current lineup.

Oh, I see CH. Tease me about being on vacation and then abandon me. Typical.

You probably won't even call me the next day.

Sorry, too busy having fun.

Actually, all of these children have started a new game which seems to be about who can scream the loudest. That is the only point I can discern anyway.

I thought you were on vacation. Since when do vacations for non-parents include screaming kids?

Since parents go on vacations too and often take it as a vacation from parenting.

I may be a little irritated at seeing a family who brought their very young children to a very dark PG-13 movie that didn't get out till nearly midnight. That's healthy for the munchkins!

I think it's telling that seeing something just now that should have ticked me off royally, my only response was a sudden wave of exhaustion.

uuuuuugh.

Drejk,

My guess is narcotics were involved. Nobody tries to commit suicide from a first-floor window, and if it was domestic abuse next door, you might have heard it (or already know about it by a history of events.) Or perhaps an attempt to ninja escape a cold-turkey detox-vigil.

So Strange!!

Almost certainly alcohol was involved. I don't know if there were any narcotics there or not. Police was inside together with ambulance technicians when the girl returned after the incident. No arrest was made so I guess there were nothing incriminating on sight.

Some sort of arguments and alcohol parties happen there from time to time. A few months ago I interrupted an argument during which she fled from the apartment on the corridor and he went after her - I asked her if she wants to call police and warned them if they won't cool down I will call the police. They calmed down and apologized.

Usually, police called to most incidents comes after 30-45 minutes when it is usually over (I called cops one night after hearing someone crying for help somewhere in the neighbourhood).

Just stumbled onto the why of this, so here's my hoping it doesn't come down to that. Though honestly, I can't say I blame you for what you said.

I love my afternoon stories myself.. Grew up watching them with grandma.

Hollywood really likes dark and gritty these days, though. The Nolan Batman franchise is not something I'd take a five-year-old or younger to see.

Aren't super huge and minis mutually exclusive? I'm so confused.

"super huge" "minis order"

not "super huge minis" "order"

Clearer?

It makes as much sense as all the other oxymorons out there.

Intelligent lights,
Chicken-Fried Steak,

Huge Minis,...

Hm, that's great, but I still can't speak to those Yankee teenagers! What's a shawty, and what in blazes does it mean to be jiggy with something or other?

That makes me sound like I'm approaching a mid-life crisis.

I'm certain I'll beat you there, and not just because of the four-year head start >_>

Cool. 240B? M2?

Getting to burn through thousands of rounds of ammo and get paid for it is the thing I miss most about the Army.

I never understood my fellow infantrymen who felt this was a chore. If you don't like shooting why the f!@@ did you become an 11B??
