That explains why you're not receiving any dividends nor in the will.

Funny thing is, you'd be amazed at how often, when shopping somewhere, I get asked if I have anything to do with the stores. Sometimes, just for s#!&s and giggles, I mess with people and spin some tale along the lines of....

...."Why, yes! I'm a member of the family that owns the store. I work for the coroporation as a sort of inspector, travelling to various stores to see how their customer service is."

Good morning, good morning.

Sun is shining, weekly game is looming and coffee is hot.

Huzzah! Sorry I missed it last night. I've been replaying KotOR the last few nights. Although I'll have to put that on hold to take care of some important work.....

Hmmmm....Two out of 4 for me.

It is a good morning.

The sun, however, is not shining. Nor do I have a game looming.

Hot coffee is a go.

Scarab Sages

Never fear! I have my umbrella! Good juju against the rain.

Scarab Sages

Mmmmm.....animal crackers.

Scarab Sages

Yes. My breakfast habits are terrible.

Scarab Sages

But, hey! Animal Crackers are a step up from potato chips.

Scarab Sages

The boy was rather cranky this morning. Not sure why.

Of course, waking up grumpy is always a problem in my house. Sometimes, though, she goes right back to sleep.

If a zombie horde wanders through the forest, and no one is around to get eaten, is it still a zombiepocalypse?

For Taig:

Good call on purchasing the Condition Deck and Buff Deck - my players made good use of both in our Kingmaker game last Saturday.

Bah I've had an Eccles cake, unfortunately it was more like a Danish.

Damn! Got pulled away for what I thought would be a few minutes, and it ended up being nearly a half-hour discussion. Such are the perils of stepping outside the cubicle.

Scarab Sages

Zombie interrupted.

Scarab Sages

Cut back a bit on scoops for the coffee and it could still peel the paint off a mini in 5 seconds.

Scarab Sages

Coffee - Navy style.

Scarab Sages

I suspect they use the same thing as fuel for the boilers.

Even a computer used for government work seems to slowly have the life sucked out of it.

Scarab Sages

All right folks. I'm out for now. Later.

And just remember:

You're good enough!
You're smart enough!
And, G@@&#$nit, people like you!

Ah f%**! The filter even filters g~~*#*nit!

Bah, well that's my game knackered. Two of the most active role-players have cancelled. Leaving me with two newbies and one bloke who may not turn up.

And it's the first real session of Kingmaker. So.... I'll have to see if I can change the plot.

=/ That sucks. It's hard enough to find a good gaming group, it's worse when the best players have to leave. Did they give a reason? Schedule conflicts, RL intrusion, dissatisfaction with the game?

Good luck working things out. Newbies aren't always hopeless, heck one of my newbies is already taking a crack at GMing as has been stated here several times... maybe they'll develop into some awesome players for you.

Their sister/ sister-in-law is in town. Which also cancels tomorrow nights board-games and my Sunday game in which I am to play in may be cancelled. Thus a quiet week this week.

I'll have to get the PC's that turn up exploring... but doesn't do my slight confidence in my GM'ing any help.

And what exactly is wrong with potato chips? It's what I'm having.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Oh whew, I thought you meant they had permanently withdrawn. This is much more workable.

Yeah I have a player out tonight plus my house will be full of guests for some shindig my mom's throwing, so I cancelled Kingmaker this week, and am taking the night as a break and resuming next week.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't really want to put off the new players & after next week the game will be postponed for another 2 sessions; else I would cancel.

GAWD. I can so easily see myself becoming one of those douchebag-middle management-bosses.

Spoiler:
Instead of just being my normal dbag self ;P

Ahh, the games those people play... Let's make comments, based on superficial info only, on the new guy's work to make him look dumb, uneducated, or inexperienced. It was satisfying, though annoying, proving that I'm not any of those things but what waste of time and energy.

Honestly, I laughed out loud. Even more so because I could ridiculously imagine you putting on the shades. Except in your case, it'd be one of those flip down sunglasses attached to your existing specs like a visor.

I know this charming little place where you and I can grab some Absinthe and take in the purring of a certain chanteuse. We should take some fellas who could use some cheering up. Shiny? Woody?
As soon as I've mysteriously acquired a round trip plane ticket, I'm on my way.

Unless you haven't told me something, I think the real problem is acquiring a time travel device capable of transporting multiple people.
