Why do I like the color purple all of a sudden?

Also, FINALLY uploaded the pics from BRONYCON

See if you can pick out the picture of me with the voice of Princess Celestia/Cheerlee and Big Macintosh!!!

Yippe Kia yay

They were so very, very nice.

I also saw John DeLancie, Tara Strong, and Lauren Faust, but I didn't get a chance to talk to them, partially due to the fact that I didn't spend 30 bucks to go to the autograph session(also couldn't exactly leave the booth), and also the Bronycon FIRE OF 2012 was a game changer that ruined the schedule.

Happy Independence Day to all of our US FaWtl people (this includes you aeglos given your current location)! I'm chillin in the Emerald City and we are about to get ready and then start to explore.

Also remember Free tall coffee at Starbucks (US only) today (July 4th)

Edit: Why yes, I think I'll enjoy my free coffee nekkid. Ooops, almost spilled. That was gonna hurt.

Look out! Tordek is running around Seattle nekkid. :/

Maybe I'm just a little bit glad I am back here in Houston...

quick rest at the hotel,

we where at the American Museum of National History, it was amazing, then Central Park, a uptown bus tour
it is very hot. we both look a bit like boiled lobsters now

soon we will go to the 9/11 memorialnot sure if we can get in

Guh. Possibly the hottest busiest touristiest day I have ever served in at the bakery

My God, why is it that tourists with NY license plates have the absolute worst attitude evar? I mean, honestly, people from Massachusetts aren't known for their friendliness, but the Noo Yawkers are on a whole 'nother level.

Blerg, I gotta decompress and get to packing

*blink*

Scarab Sages

Packed zombie is packed. For the most part. I've still gotta plug in my netbook tonight and make sure it's all charged up. Same with the phone.

Must be from downstate.

Likely.

As an aside: why is it, that with a humongous island (Long Island) , with miles of beaches and great places to visit, folks from greater NYC and attendant suburbs still flock to Cape Cod? It seems odd to me

I really hate it when people back out on plans literally an hour beforehand. Seriously, a guy that I haven't seen in a long time, along with a group of mutual friends were going to go see Prometheus, and then get together afterwards for drinks. This was planned for weeks, to the point where I told my boss that I couldn't work today. And then, after days of not answering his phone, the friend everyone hadn't seen in forever called to say he was going to bail. This was around twenty minutes ago. We were supposed to meet up at 5:00. This guy cost me a sorely needed day of work. F*~& this shit.

Because it's *exotic*.

AFAICT from pictures the Hamptons look very similar to the Cape.

back from paying our respect at ground zero

next on the list: eating a Steuben Sandwich at Carnegie Deli,
then finding a spot to watch the fireworks

Because on Long Island they would have to deal with Long Islanders. If you Cape Cod residents worked on becoming more abrasive, maybe your problems would be solved.

The Exchange

I need to get rich before I visit New York, or hit up a local as an all day guide.

Yeah they are a line produced by the people formerly call DDMspoilers now Plasticrypt.com. They have another set on the way of four minis that look cool a dog a raven a medium ant and a coffin. Those tentacles I thought would come in useful for certain encounters and spell effects Evards black tentacles anyone?

The Exchange

The first mini would be perfect to an evards.

In fact here is a link to their second set which should release very soon. And the 3rd set will be a bit longer to release but I placed the gallery link for you

Tomorrow we are going to visit the Musuem of Flight. But I'm really just killing time until PaizoCon starts. I can't wait for it to start.

We are safely in Boise. We should be in Redmond by 1500.

Where are we socializing tomorrow night?

Grand Lodge

I have an Open Design backer game with Christina tomorrow night, not sure how long it will last. Other than that, only Friday and Sunday mornings are spoken for. (Magitek Factory and Rappan Athuk B7 games) Oh, and the Open Design patron dinner at some point, possibly Friday night.

I reckon I'll hit the Claim Jumper at 5.

That's where I'll be. I know Taig is planning to be there as well, and I assume AZ, Patrick and Jess. We are going to try to put together a FaWtl table together at the Meet & Eat. Have a safe drive. See you on Thursday.

My wife's laptop drive just fritzed.

The day before her final paper is due.

It's on the drive.

Did I mention I have to be up in five hours to take the animals to their boarding before driving the two hours to the airport? Suddenly the money saved by flying out of Austin doesn't seem so great.

Heading out myself in a few. Up at O-dark 30, good thing I'm used to it

Give her my regards - saying that sucks doesn't begin to describe how frustrated/panicked she must feel.

How much does file recovery costs in US?

Friend got her HD gone dead with her important work materials on it (she is a doctor of political sciences) and it was expected that recovery would cost about 3,000 PLN (little less than $1,000) but in the end it happened to be 1,200 PLN (<$400) because HD was old and small. She was lucky because her boss decided to pay for the recovery because there were some vital data for their university department.

I look forward to tasting some of the great.....cuisine......of Seattle.

Backup?

Yeah, yeah, I know... Everyone backups their data, right? Right?!

Tumbleweed rolls through the scene.

EDIT: Getting naked.
