I'd rather say it's a man chewing on a stalk of straw than an man composed of straw. It's not a perfect argument, mind, but I still put the spirit of the question to you if not the situation itself.

I am quite polite, but I may respond in kind if someone seems to be rude and pushy. Like most people, I tend to respond poorly to sarcasm, condescenion, etc. I don't like to begin that business, but I'm not inclined to play the punching bag, either. It's called 'standing up for yourself.'
Since it seems that people can't remain civil in this thread, it is locked.
