Yeah, I read that this morning (on wikipedia). It is a sad loss for the movie industry. Das Boot, Last Exit to Brooklyn and many more...
Age 61 - far too young, he could have produced movies for years to come.

It´s sad. He was probably the most important personality in the movie and TV business in Germany.

According to his (german) wikipedia entry, he designed the media campaign for that movie. That entry seems well-researched.

Thank you, I only skipped through the entry (a mistkae I somehow make very often when reading wiki entries...) and missed that part.
