Before I say this, I have not everything on this post (not enough time, so sorry if repeat someone)

When I think ninja I think 2 things:
Anime
And the white guys on you tube who dress up in Halloween costumes of ninjas and go out in there back yard, and tape themselves doing some crappy white belt kata(sp?) (Always called them forums)

So +1

Someone spent a Ki point to get a second post at their highest attack bonus :D

Yes, it is.

Taldor has a general titled 'strategos' doesn't it? That's Greek. The East Romans, sometimes miscalled 'Byzantines', used that title.
I get kind of an East Roman vibe from Taldor. Not in the particulars, of course. It's not Christian, for one thing.

I don´t know. With medusas, minotaurs, centaurs etc... I really miss a classical age setting in golarion. Maybe there is one in arcadia...

Use of the word Ninja is really not that big of a deal. Because if one were to make a mystic-themed rogue, then they would most likely call it a Ninja. And personally, I think of Ninja as more evocative of a hidden past, and just plain cool.

Whaaaa? Then we should change the name of the monk too, right?

It's a BLOODY NINJA!

If we changed the name, someone who saw it for the first time would inevitably just say after reading it,

"So it's a Ninja then."

Every noun in the English lexicon has a geoethnic origin.

Many would say the word thug originated in England, but we know better. Even if you do, most don't think of it's original origin much when we hear it. It's just a question of time.

Just stop attaching the ethnic identity to the name and accept it for it's awesomeness.
And that's really just the beauty of English, it's ability to gobble up and adopt other language's words with gluttonous vigor.

In a hundred years no one will care about it's origin, but we'll still be playing awesome RPGs like Pathfinder.
