Kel had moved to where she could see those that were moving forwards and those that were staying behind. The words that passed between the hobgoblin and the paladin did not soothe her worries and made her inclined to snap at the group.

"W-we know where we are s-s-supposed to be.." she began shakily, still visibly bothered. "So the question is what is wrong with where we are supposed to be", she offered.

Patrissa: What do you mean... eh... Nichelle?

"We know that we're supposed to be in the courthouse where that case took place. The one we're all here about. Clearly something is wrong with the courthouse, though. The possessed clock, the falling ceiling piece, and what's outside the window all tell us that."

Rekkart: Let's get moving. It's not safe to stay in this building for too long.

Malgrim: Hahahaha! So you are worried about your own safety, paladin?

Rekkart: Not as much as you should be! -the paladin draws his sword again, but Patrissa tries to stop him grabbing his arm.

Patrissa: Rekkart, please, stop!

Malgrim: Yea, Rekkart, stop. You could get hurt, you know? -and draws a terrible smile in his big ugly hobgoblin mouth.

The paladin is having a difficult internal fight. He knows that a fight in this moment isn't he best option, but he feel that the hobgoblin will be a burden until he is dead.

"I do not know that I wish to find out what is wrong here," Elora remarks. "We would be best served by leaving... if we can even figure out how."

As the fight breaks out behind her, Elora moves to step between the two. "This is no time for bickering!" she says, sternly but calmly, glaring at the hobgoblin and the paladin in turn. "Much less slaying one another. The important thing now is to find a way out. Halor, you seem ready and willing to lead the way. Hopefully, somewhere in this courthouse we can find a way out of this... mess..." she says, her gaze going blank as she recalls the pitch blackness outside.

Ebin, the jester: Ok, huuuuuu. Jaja. So... What now?

"If we are to leave this place, we should try to find a way out that will allow us to leave. Does anybody object to a circuit of the building, looking for a possible exit?"

"If nothing else, it would be good to become acquainted with the surroundings. I will follow where you lead."

Scarab Sages

"Anybody else coming with us?"

Rekkart: We should move together. You lead. We all follow.
Malgrim: Talk for yourself, pity human.
Rekkart: Good. Go by yourself. It's alright for me, believe me.

Malgrim laughts.
Malgrim: No, I prefer to go with you... just to be a big big pain in your white white ass.

Rekkart ignores the last comment.

Tablark, the old and strong dwarf, looking at the magus half orc: Go ahead, son. We follow you.

While Nichelle was very, very disturbed by the situation, she was still possessed of enough of her wits to know that they would still be better off moving and looking for a way to get out of here.. Something about this place was simply wrong as far as she was concerned. The bickering between the others was none of her business, and those two were larger than she would have voluntarily involved herself with under normal circumstances, let alone these circumstances.

With a glance to see that the others are following, Halor again heads out into the main hall cautiously. Having already glanced into the other courtroom, he turns to the main entrance to test it and see if it will grant the group egress.

When Tablark, the dwarf, sees you getting near the main entrance, he runs to the door while saying:

Tablark: Son, you are totally right! The entrance of a building can be used to get out of him! Hahahaha!

Then, he open the door and suddenly was sucked out with a tremendous strength. There was a black hole in the darkness out there! The dwarf was clinging to the door, trying to avoid being swallowed by the darkness.

Patrissa: Nooo!!!

Ebin, the gnome jester: Careful there!

Rekkart then grabs the door and the big hand of the dwarf and begin to grab it to the main hall again. Some of the others are helping him (including some of you). Some doesn't help (including Malgrim, Ebin and the terrified Halgrak.

At the very moment the dwarf was again in the main hall, Rekkart closes the door.

Madge, the beautiful halfing female: It seems that we are trapped here.

She wasn't the talking type, so this affirmation was a surprise. Halgrak was silently shaken staring at the floor, but wasn't a surprise.

"Perhaps we are. But perhaps another exit may be of use to us. Let us try another door and see if our luck will change." Moving slowly up the hall past the crazy clock, Halor turns and crosses to the single door next to the last pillar on the left.

"It's alright! Just don't panic. If we keep our wits about us, I'm sure we can figure something out." The young woman's face starts to turn red as the omni-present spirits about her person start mocking her attempts to calm the others while she herself feels the edge of terror.

"I will see the dawn again," she says quietly to herself. "We all will, with Sarenrae's blessing."

She moves to the more shaken members*, laying a hand on their shoulders and asking, "Are you alright? Is there anything I can do to help?"

*Tablark and Halgrak, I assume?

Tablark, the dwaft: Eh... nothing... -the dwarf seems to be recovering his face color again. He stares at the girl and gets up from the floor- It's alright. I'm alright. But, we will have to make turns to open the door. I'm old for these shocks, you know?

Guys, I'm on a business trip from tomorrow Thursday to the next Monday. So, we will have to pause the game until that.

Elora smiles warmly. "Good, then. Perhaps we young ones should handle the exciting parts from now on."

Tablark: Ei! I'm not saying that I can't handle this! I only say that I should take a rest between this shocks, you know?

Ebin: Ok, so keep boo-hind us. Jejeje. Don't you get it? Shock. Boo. Ghostly sound. Hello? Ok, ok, I get it. So, where do we go now?

Halor motions to the others to be ready for anything, then nudges the door open, ready to see what's inside.

If we're still going. It was the door on the left-hand side next to the last pillar.

With one last reassuring nod to the stricken, Elora stands up and nods at Halor. She grips her shortspear, taking a moment to wrest it from the spirits that never seemed quite ready to give up anything she wanted to retrieve from where it was stored.
