Durkon's busy elsewhere,

He has to visit the Temple of Thor eventually. That's his job!

and I can't imagine V getting drunk.

Even better.

I prefer we not imagine the wizard that almost had god-like power and killed like TONS of Black Dragons...not get drunk.

As for Durkon, I'm sure playing with his kid takes up some time too.

Yup. The entire point of this interlude is that the rest of the team are killing time while waiting for the team clerics (note the plural) to say their goodbyes and gather their stuff.

Oh, them again. Good to see a long-idle plot thread coming back to the fore.

Yeah I'm happy to see My Three Fiends doing what they do best.

HEY HEY HEY a moment of silence for the Doomed sparkly boys please.

Vid,

I don't care much for what amounts to excess carbon...or whatever.

Hey your Carbon too Thomas-san!

1184: Regeneration Gap.

I was wondering if Rich was going to address this!

Silly human ideas :-D

Durkon just needs to tell her that, even if she never gets her arm back in life, she still isn't going to have any proof that she never let go when she finally goes to Valhalla. After all, Durkula got vaporized when he died, and dead!Durkon had a whole body.

I don't know what Durkon's thinking, to be honest. If you're a PC or an important NPC who's missing an appendage or an eye, the odds are that you're somehow going to get something cooler than what you were born with if you wait long enough.

And sometimes, replacements become available before you've even lost the original appendage. Like the Head of Vecna.

That is the funniest story Ever!

(In fairness, the heads of those PCs were defective.)

Honestly I just like how Mamma Durkon is like all the best and worst mom tropes in one. :)

Elan, Haley and Roy were all about their dads. Good to have Durkon's mom for some balance. V was about their mate and children. It's all about family, even Redcloak.

Belkar likely sprang fully-formed from the South end of the alignment pool though ;-)

Belkar is all about breaking the tropes one would expect of a halfling that's not a rogue.

Being both the best and worst at something at the same time does sound amazingly dwarfy.

I'm going to go out on a "limb" on this and agree with you.

I am disarmed by this charming conversation.

It almost regenerates this thread.

Agreed. It'd be a shame if it were to be abbreviated too soon.

If the new comic doesn't come soon, then we are going to have to bury this thread.
