I know it's way early to talk about this one, but I'm trying to decide between a couple conventions early next year and I'd like to know what the convention is like, especially in terms of playing Pathfinder Society. I usually go to the D&D Experience convention in late January but as I'm getting more into Pathfinder I'm considering just skipping the Experience and going to Gamicon to play PFS. Convince me it's worth the drive from northern Indiana!

Hey Tom... more than welcome to come to Gamicon... really I should be the only reason you need to come to Iowa, however, here is what we have for mods
Low
Before the Dawn 1 & 2
The Pneumbra Accords
Murder on the Throaty Mermaid
Special
High
Heresy of Man 1-3
Rebal's Ransom
Special
I have it on good authority that DougDoug the Great will be showing up and possibly bring his minion Kyle along as well.
There is also a stellar game library for board games and several other games that are played as well -- I just don't have information on those as they are usually pick up style games.
You can contact either myself or Todd Morgan for additional information -- Todd is our coordinator for the area
*edited to add* Go to Linkies.

I've been wanting to hit Gamicon for a few years as I'm just down the road. Never really worked out tho. :(
It can be a tough weekend if you have spousal agro to worry about. But there is a vendor that sells wooden roses so there is that aspect -- can go home with a present :D hehe
But seriously you should come .. it'll be fun.
