Hi,
Just Undecided on my last 3 feats from a ranger build. Went with a TWF (using instant enemy spells to get FE on who I want)
I went with +8 for evil outsiders (so as to get a bigger bonus on Instant Enemy)
2-Double Slice
3-Endurance, Favored Terrain 1 (forest), Following Step
4-Hunter's Bond (Wolf)
5-Favored Enemy 2, Bonded Companion
6-ITWF
7-Woodland Stride, Two Weapon Pounce
8-Swift Tracker, Favored Terrain 2 (underground)
9-Evasion, Craft Wand
10-Favored Enemy 3, Two Weapon Rend
11-Quarry, Dazing Assault
12-Camouflage
13-3rd Favored Terrain (urban), Favored Defense
14-Gtr Two Weapon Fighting
15-Favored Enemy 4, Feat
16-Improved Evasion
17-Hide in Plain Sight, Feat
18-Favored Terrain 4 (mountains), Two Weapon Defense
19-Improved Quarry, Feat
20-Favored Enemy 5, Master Hunter
.
3.5 is allowed but no OMG cheese.
I would prefer core....
Thought about PBS, Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim but should be able to fly at these levels.
Maybe Combat Reflexes, Rolibar's Gambit and Step up and Strike?
Like I said I'd prefer core If there's a good combo I've not seen.
PS: yes I know there's 2 too many feats at 1st level. We allow falws. Cheers.

It's a planned build. We're starting at 1.
I should elaborate more- craft wand is needed as I'll fill all 3rd and 4th slots with instant enemy.
The wolf is gonna trip/flank for me.
Two Weapon Pouncs lets me TWF on a Charge
Step up and following step i hope will help me stay adjacent to retreating/moving foes- not 100% on it's uses though, I've posed questions in the rules forums.
I hope it lets me keep Full Attacking by following up a target who (I think would need to move more than 15 ft away. I could follow up for 10ft or less and AOO when they leave my threatened area. if they only moved 15ft then I've already coved 10 and can 5ft step and full attack next round. Any further ad I'd have to charge.

Well, if you're already low on hp I'd suggest the DM use power attack to make sure you're well and truly down and to use the coup de grace when / if you're already on the ground and... er, oh... sorry :D Carry on...
Just joking of course, but with that subject lie I could't help myself...
My DM liked to joke after the world series, "Giants trample Rangers."

Took me awhile to get that till I realised you meant 'subject line'

Awww, some help would be nice. Other wise I might go with
Combat Reflexes, Rolibar's Gambit and Step up and Strike.Or maybe Martial Study: Vanguard Strike, Martial Stance: Martial Spirit and Defensive Rebuke
Vanguard Strike benefits all parties attacks (+4 for one round), go for those times I can't pounce or full attack. 1 per encounter.
Martial Spirit heals 2 hp to me or an ally for every strike I make, Of a full attack vs an Instant Enemy, that's around 10-14hp per full attack. Always on.
Defensive rebuke is nice if I need to protect an ally. A big bad I hit with this HAS to fight me because if he hits an ally I get to AOO him. But I'd need to get Combat Reflexes ino the build.
I'm sure there must be an awesome combo out there that's core. I just can't find it.
I'm not really keen on rolibar's because:
1. It's 3.5 and I'd like to keep it to a minimum.

Must watch spelling... what good is a word joke when you muff the line?!
