In case anyone who braved the wall of text to read the background wasn't sure. The background was written somewhat tongue-in-cheek. I don't mind modifying it to make it slightly more serious and fit the tone of the game. I would like feedback about it, though.
I'm interested in this. What is your expectations of our posting speed?
To answer an earlier question, we can post at least once a day, if not more. We expect players to post at least once every couple of days or so, but if they could post once per day themselves, that would be fantastic.

This caused Tik-Tik to be sad for an entire day. He hid himself away and didn't eat. The next morning though, his curiousity got the better of him(again I should add) and he went down into the kitchen to fix himself something to eat. Dragging a large book from his father's shelf, he began to to follow the recipe for what he thought was his favorite kind of oatmeal.
Just waking up, his father started to stretch and heard a large explosion from downstairs. Running down the stairs as fast as he could, he followed the smoke trail traveling across the ceiling to the kitchen, where he found Tik-Tik laying on his back. Looking at his father upside down, all Tik-Tik could do was say “Boom!” and giggle wildly. Seeing the potential his adopted son had, the elf's next purchase was a small lab and some formulas. He beamed with pride as Tik-Tik took to the alchemical arts as quickly as he himself and taken to wizardry.
Years pass and son father and son are making their living selling the potions, scrolls, and the occasional magical weapon. Then it is Tik-Tik turn to wake to an explosion. Flying down the stairs faster than humanly possible, he finds his father next to the front door, the house burning around him as he tries desperately to stem the blood flowing from a large gash in his side. He explained as quickly as he could that the people who had stolen him when he was young had found out about him and had come form him. He'd driven them off for now, but Tik-Tik needed to take everything he could carry and leave now.
So, as the fire from his father's spell spread through the house, Tik-Tik moved as fast as he could to collect his things. Risking life and limb, the last thing he grabbed before jumping out of the top floor window was his father's spellbook. As he fell, his wings snapped open and the hot air from the fire raised him high up into the sky.
What's with the surprised look? Did I forget to mention Tik-Tik was a pseudodragon? My apologies, but now that you know, let's move on with the story.
Spending the next year saddened, Tik-Tik stayed away from people as much as he could, spending his time reminiscing about the time he had spent cooking up new chemical concoctions with his father, making candies for the little children that came by to play, or reading books twice as heavy as he was infront of the fire...
Not long after he started venturing into towns again, he meet up with Genesys, a blue-scaled pseudodragon. Feeling a kinship with the dragon, he agreed to travel with him, and even took up the mantle of traveling chef and candymaker to help fund the journey.
And yes, Tik-Tik's extracts, bombs, and mutagens are going to be color-coded, carefully shaped candies. Keep sepreate from the candy he sells of course.
If you allow I would like to put together a Adept Godling from the Genius Guide to Mystic Godlings if you allow it? Not sure what you think about mortal(-ish) children of gods, so if that is a bit too high fantasy for you I can re-flavor it. :)
The character, rule wise, will be mainly a combat focused caster but will have some healing worth mentioned, even more if we expect to level past 15 when he gains heal. :)

Elros of Amrothe looks good. I like that you're not afraid to attempt to write part of the story for me. It's bold, and I appreciate it. If you send me your email address I'd like to give you information on Valandaer's Nobility (As in specifics on some of the more high ranking members and what not) and some of their more specific history. I like the idea that you were exiled by Seferin (Again, more info on him if you send me an email), and you were friends with Soreanna. My only concern is that the war with Tyrixx began with Seferin's death, and the rest of Valandaer's High Court, especially with Soreanna at its head with Seferin gone would not let Amrothe fall without support. Especially considering that its Lord was among the minority to speak out against demonic compacts. While some in the Council might advocate allowing Amrothe to fight alone in order to arm themselves and prepare, the more reasonable members would be loathe to support that plan.
Are you looking to be among the High Council by the way? Soreanna would most likely ask you in light of your talents and opposition to the demons. You would also apparently have had first hand experience fighting them.

It's no problem to change the background, I left it a little undefined for the GM to arrange story hooks. Perhaps Amrothe' was caught in a blitz, with no time to be reinforced.

Elros is not currently interested in being on the High Council, still resentful of his exile and working his anguish at losing his family out on the demons at large. I also didn't put him in a romance with Soreanna because I figured that would be a DM call. But being a chivalric type, he really ought to have a romantic interest. You know someone?

I haven't posted on the first thread but I have been following it. I want to apply with a NG rogue Cleric of Silistria, a high ranking member of the Guild. I have a build in mind with a level 3 rogue, level 12 cleric with thievery/luck domains. but I have a few general questions:
1) do you accept subdomains?
2) I have looked a rogue/cleric prestige class (there are a few in complete divine or complete adventurer and they do not really fit with the concept I had in mind. I have found a feat in Dragon #357:
Your devotion to your deity continues to grow, even when you choose to familiarize yourself with more worldly pursuits.
Prerequisite: Sneak attack +2d6, ability to turn or rebuke undead.
Benefit: Your cleric and rogue levels stack for the purpose of determining your turning check and turning damage.
Your cleric and rogue levels also stack for the purpose of determining your sneak attack bonus damage.
Translation for pathfinder would mean replacing turning check/damage by channel energy level and DC.
Would you accept this feat?
3)Do you have written any specifics of Silistria cult/or of the Guild organisation so I could fit the background in.

E-mail sent. I agree with you about the strength of the feat. From the PrC, I've seen, there is usually +1 dice of SA per 3 levels instead of +1 dice per 2 levels. What do you think of a feat giving just that and no effect on channelling?

sent some questions to your counter part just was wondering what a good high Int race would be to play in your setting anything with a +4 Int would be great :)
I think the highest int you're going to get is the +2 from an elf. Anything with a +4 int as a racial bonus would probably come with some other hefty penalties or have LA +1.
One other question, the Archivest (3.5) reformatted that I sent you I put Int as its casting stat, would you prefer it to be Wis since its divine? I have been thinking about it and have been thinking of changing it in my own homebrew.
I have no idea. You sent that to Glorfinmad apparently, and he did not inform me of this. I'll rabble at him later so I can contribute to answering some questions I guess.
Well I figured with 2 guys playing Dragons LA wasnt that big of a deal. so LA no more than 2 overall any 4 or higher int races?
Haha well they have an LA of 1 playing those dragons. They're technically 14th level. That being said, I really don't know if there are any 4 or higher int races even with an LA that's no more than 2. I'd have to look. I can answer that question for you probably by tomorrow.

Elros is roused from his depression because the Oracle can guide him to be in the right place at the right time to defeat the demons on the battlefield...

Leadership isn't allowed. If you want to play two characters, apply twice. That's a joke, but in all seriousness, I don't like the leadership feat at all mechanically. Sorry. I also don't really like the whole buy down of LA thing (especially since you're getting double standard wealth).
Making up an Organization is in no way too much. I'd like to see that. And I can email you that tomorrow after I get some sleep. Sorry it took me a while to respond. I've been swamped.
Also, this would probably be a high magic setting. It would be difficult for me to put a limit on the price of the item since the item is really more about rp than anything else. Just run something by me and if it's too absurd, I'll let you know. Remember, the extra magic item is only acceptable if there's a very good reason for having it.

Maps? If you mean the map of Sariel then that was done in Gimp. It's like photoshop CS4 but free.
If you are interested in making maps then I highly recommend this guide from the Cartographers Guild. It'll take you through step by step. It's a powerful and very easy to understand tutorial.

Anyways I'm liking the character concepts we have floating around. All I'll say is this: Do not be afraid to worldbuild. At all. Doing it, and doing it WELL really makes an application shine. Creativity is often the crux of a good party in a higher level adventure where we try to achieve the feel of the epic fantasy.
Maps? If you mean the map of Sariel then that was done in Gimp. It's like photoshop CS4 but free.

Can you give me some background on the different sub cultures within the Human Race. For instance if I wanted to play a human character that was in a subculture similar to Norse or Frankish which would I choose and where are thier populations settled and in what densities?
Also I am planning on createing a kind of orginization/church/guild I will email you that over the next few days.
