Cerebus or Hydra Eidolon?

Homebrew and House Rules

I want to make a Cerebus type eidolon, but the rules only allow one bite attack per Eidolon. I can understand why this is. The Bite attack is one of the best attacks available to the Eidolon, and multiplying it would be pretty potent.

Here are my proposed ideas

1. Completely legal: use the mechanic of limbs and claws, but for flavor purposes, just say that they are extra heads. I will likely do this, just because it is completely legal, and any other options requre my DM to allow it.

2. Allow extra bite evolution with a prerequisite, such as limbs for each new head

3. New evolution, Head. Allows the taking of another bite evolution, increases intelligence +1

4. Allow extra Bite attacks with a new feat

5. Allow extra Bite attacks at a cost of 2 natural attacks per bite attack.

Any opinions?

I think an evolution of extra head would be enough at 2 pts then you still have to buy the bite evolution for an additional 1 point (this is limited by both head evolutions & the fact of attacks are limited by level)

if you want a long neck that gives reach then you have to buy that evolution as well for an additional 1 pt

I agree you have to give the head something of worth when you compare it to legs (10' increase in base speed) or arms (ability to hold weapons etc) so I think maybe an increase to Int or maybe Wis would be fine at +1 - this would actually make the eidolon less of an all brute option & more a thinking creature too

I thought the bite attack though was a bit underpowered - 1D6 for 1 pt vs 2x 1D4 claws for 1 pt - I would take the claws everytime but thats just me
