Linah gasps as she sees one of the arrows penetrate Nuverils armor. "Khalid, help Nuveril!", Linah cries out to Khalid. She then takes a deep breath and asks for the dawnflowers protection before moving out in the open towards the tied down prisioner hoping to draw the attention of the gnoll archers.

Charge to R32, I can just make it.

Crossing the battlefield in long loping strides, Sajan's somewhat confused demeanour disappears as he faces the Gnolls- and he instantly seems to move like hes been hunting these things all his life. His charge ending, his face held in restrained anger, he unleashes his wrath on the Gnoll, his fist crackling with his flowing ki- manifesting as lightning sparks. He slams it into the Gnoll's head with one heavy, massive punch.

Oh, don't worry. I won't forget Gnoll Killer ;).

The gnoll, axe in hand, is intent on the badly wounded Nuveril and never sees Sajan coming. The massive blow sends it spinning backwards and down to the dirt. Its body still spasms from the electrical strike but it is no longer conscious to feel it.

Arjun is up then last gnoll then on to round 2.

Not a problem at all. You can post as early as you like and revise as you need to. It helps keep us moving along.

Arjun's thrown vial bombards three gnolls, including Sajan's fallen foe, with stinging icicles. The bow wielder is struck full on while the axe wielder manages to avoid the worst of it with his shield. The fallen gnoll is clearly brutalised, large tears showing in its skin.

Save bow 1d20 ⇒ 1
Save axe 1d20 ⇒ 19

For their ferocity, the gnolls seem shocked at their sudden losses.

Grall's opponent yips at the others.

Gnoll:

Take down the false brother and the fist fighter brothers!

The gnoll with the greatclub goes into a frenzy, smashing the club once more onto the ground before charging across the field at Grall. The greatclub whines as it swings through the air and for all his defensive posture Grall cannot quite react in time taking a heavy blow to the chest.

Round 2 Action
Grall looks up at the Gnoll brute, he knows the Gnoll heard Gralls ribs crack on the massive blow, but instead of grimacing in pain he smiles,

Gnoll:

Grall slashes fiercely into the gnoll his falchion driving deeply into its leg, arm and then chest. Even fortified with its rage, the gnoll wobbles on its feet, staggered and then Gralls teeth sink deeply into its throat and it falls to the dirt limply, life blood spurting from the wound.

Falchion hit was 0hp.

I actually remembered to include gnoll killer in that roll, so I guess he's at 1 HP?

The gnoll who shot Nuveril desperately tries to block the angry halfling's blows with its bow but she knocks its arm aside and deals it a powerful blow just above its heart. It staggers on its feet seemingly about to fall over. Gnoll killer made it 0hp.

Khalid charges in, forming a neat line with his colleagues. His suddenly outnumbered target manages to take the inquisitor's strike on his shield.

Linah chants a quick spell of protection and ventures back out into the open. This close she can see that the man appears to be sobbing, seemingly oblivious to the surrounding battle.

With half the gnolls either down or critically wounded in the first few seconds of the fight, the morale of the remainder appears to waver. One of the bowman risks a glance to the west, then back at you blocking the way to town and purses its lips. The gnolls fight on even if their yips sound a bit hoarser.

Nuveril's opponent staggers back five feet, roaring at her and fires another arrow with the last of its strength. Again it is on target skipping past her madu and sinking into her chest. The gnoll, a smile on its lips, then promptly falls over.

I believe it can five foot step while disabled. I am sure Alex will correct me if I am wrong. I believe enraged that disables Nuveril in turn?

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
1d8 ⇒ 6

The axe gnoll adjacent to Grall launches a series of desperate attack at the gnoll trying to take advantage of his wound. The southern bow wielder runs in to help dropping its bow and drawing its axe. Grall, standing strong, manages to resist all of their attacks.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 (two-hand)

The last bowman also drops his bow and draws his axe, running in to prop up the gnoll's faltering line. Looking between the off-balance Khalid and the clearly about to fall halfling, he swings his axe at the inquisitor but tempest is a floating wall of steel and the gnoll cannot find an opening. Note this is flavour when monsters take their actions at the same time I decide before hand what they are doing.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 (two-hand)

Egads all the good rolls on Nuveril again. Noticed an error in the gnoll statblock in the bestiary they should be doing 1d8 + 2 base not + 3, fortunately this hasn't affected anything. Sajan and Argun are up.

Sajan, Round 2-

Sajan moves to flank the central gnoll with Grall, moving 30 feet as he circles the melee. Once in position, his brass knuckles slam cruelly into the Gnoll's back.

I wasn't expecting a Gnoll at Q29, correct. Had to post before I went out for the evening and there was no map at that time. Same move, but flanking the northernmost Gnoll with Khalid instead.

Sajan's cruel blow nearly drives the northernmost gnoll from its feet.

Arjun's bomb then pounds it and the wounded central gnoll. The first takes the blast full on dropping it to the ground. The second manages to dodge the worst of it but has been slowed by its several wounds and it barely standing.

I assumed R29 as it was the closest I could get to your original idea. If you would have shifted to the new one in the circumstances thats fine.

Assuming the one in R29 is the one still standing A dull throbbing in her ears, which conscious thought, if she were capable of it, would identify as her heartbeat, Nuveril reaches up to snap off the shaft of the second arrow. Everything seems to be moving very slowly around her, and the perimeter of her vision registers a dull red. She still sees the tawny fur of gnoll before her, though, and raises her hammer once again to attack. 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21 Damage 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Then, she collapses in a heap on the sandy ground.

If the one in T29 is still standing, she'll have to move and can't attack this round. That will leave her on her feet for Khalid to heal but will be much less dramatic. :)

Grall finishes the southern gnoll with several brutal strikes with his falchion while Nuveril hits hers in the knee and then the head, cracking its skull and dropping it, seconds before falling to the ground herself.

Khalid quickly heals her and she regains consciousness although she is clearly exhausted.

Grall and Nuveril are fatigued assuming Grall ends his rage at this point.

In the interim, Linah hurries over to the prisoner, cutting his bonds and helping him to his feet. He doesn't resist. In fact he barely seems to register what is going on, babbling away in what seems to Linah to be the common Avistan language although he clearly says the word "Abadar" several times. I think Grall is thinking of taking one of their kits to disguise himself as a Kelmarane gnoll. Are they wearing any sort of "uniform" or identifying marks on their armor/shields/etc., or are they just kitted out any old way?

EDIT: Although, if we just drag the bow-wielding gnoll with us, we could take his stuff and not take the time to strip a body.

No uniform. There are various (what you take to be) tribal and religious symbols on their clothing and gear. Just to confirm Grall (I'm assuming Nuveril and Sajan and anyone with appropriate knowledge ranks) would be aware that gnolls have a very pack centric social structure. You would not expect a disguise to last more than seconds close up assuming your trying to pretend to be a Kuldis gnoll to another Kuldis gnoll.
