Forgotten Realms needs you! Pathfinderized

Gamer Connection

I'm searching for a replacement for my Forgotten Realms conversion. It's my own homebrewed campaign (make it up as I go along) so there's a good chance your characters will hit high levels, just in case you have a plan for a prestiege class build.

20 point buy
Level: 2nd
Starting cash for 2nd level.
Races: all core + Tiefling and Aasimar
Classes: All core and APG including varients on classes.

So far the group are in Beregost, killed Orcs on their trip there and discovered a evil temple close by that was the cause of the many kidnappings. After the rescue the group has been praised as heroes for bringing back the children, unfortunatly this had been going on for a while and not all the children were alive.

There are still many strange events happening through out the sword coast that raise many concerns. You hear whispers that this is only the begining.

I'll be choosing based on backstory, not who posts first, however since this is kind of urgent I will give it a few days before making my decision.

Any chance we could get a bit more of a 'primer' as to who/what/where and what the party composition (and history?)is so we can best design someone that fits?

Also, was there a 'gap' in the party? or do they already have tank/rogue/cler/mu?

Its 11pm here, Ill post something in the morning methinks!

Cheers

So far the group is:

Male Elf Ranger/Sorcorer
Male Human Mobile fighter
Female Halfling Summoner
Male Gnome Inquisitor

Sorry, I forgot about what the group build was so far.

Dark Archive

Assuming you are using the Forgoten Realms Deities,

My only question would be on Favored Weapon, its listed as (claw Bracer)

What would this Translate to in Pathfinder?

Kyrina Sunchild
Female NG Aasimar Cleric of Sharess, With the travel and trickery Domains

background:

She refers to Sharess by her title of The Dancing Lady, Kryina is a Traveling Dancer, going from Various Festhous and Taverns to celebrate the Endless Revels of Life. She was Passing though Beregost When she Saw the people saddened by the loss of their Childern. She did the best she could to cheer them up, but to no avail. She saw it as a sign from Sharess when the adventuring group returned with most of teh childern, that she shoudl join this group, to help Spread more Smiles, and good will throughout the land.

Kyrina Grew up as the only Child of a Tavern owner. Mugs and bottles where her play toys, bard songs here her Lullibies. As she got older, she Started to help her Father by waiting tables. One Day, a Woman performed at the Tavern, a Dance that Kyrina had never seen before. Inthralled by this dance, Kyrina begged the dancer to Teach her. The dancer refused at first, but at a closer look in Kyrina's eyes, she agreed. Kyrina then left her Fathers Tavern to Travel with the Dancer, who taught her that the Dance was just not for show, but a way to Worship Sharess. Kyrina Embrassed this Faith, and has continued to spread the joy of Dance in every town she stopped in

I would like to submit Tressia Kalish, female Aasimar Paladin of Bahamut.

Background:

Spoiler:
Born to Ameil and Geris, Tressia was always considered a herald of good fortune in the small town of Melrhune. Her platinum eyes and hair made her angelic heritage very apparent. Since her birth, crops had been plentiful, the plains had been free of drought, and raids had been non-existent. This would all change the day of her eighteenth birthday. Ameil had planned a great feast for the whole town with a dance that night. During the dance a great roar was heard from the darkness beyond the town and everyone started to panic and run for their homes. As Tressia stood motionless in the courtyard a gigantic red dragon flew overhead and began to lay waste to the town. Finally overcoming the fear, Tressia rushed toward her house where her parents had already hidden. As she approached their home, the dragon's fiery breath rained down from above and the house exploded in a shower of flame and timber knocking her under a pile of debris.

When Tressia awoke and climbed out from under the debris she immediately fell to her knees and began to cry, for the whole town had been burnt to the ground and she was the only survivor. From that day on Tressia wandered the plains of Mulhorand searching for a purpose for her towns fate. Tressia, unable to take one more step, collapsed under a tree.
"Arise Tressia" She could hear a voice, but couldn't distinguish where it was from. "You must avenge your loved ones and town" Tressia's eyes opened wide. Looking around she could make out a fountain and a glorious statue depicting a platinum dragon. She knew then what her purpose was, to defeat oppression and evil in any form. Since that day she has been traveling throughout Faerun defending towns and defeating evil. Now stopping to rest in Beregost, Tressia is ready for her next adventure.

** spoiler omitted **

You can still use the claw bracer. I can get the stats for you if you wish as I have the 3.5 campaign book.

Dark Archive

That would be Great, at least i can take alook at the stats/ description.

I'm a bit wary of how it would look/ feel with the Character Concept though. But yes, if you have the stats/ desctiption that would be awesome.

Also, Change the Trickery Domain to the Love Sub Domain, if that is ok.

yay FR, humm what year? sword coast area correct?

Yeah, currently Beregost. Not thought too much on yeah since it'll be set in 3rd edition calender, however I would've made a few cosmetic changes and so forth.

I'll throw my hat in on a NG human(chondathan) cleric/rogue of tymora:

Spoiler:
Marcus Jandeth was born to a minor Cormyrian noble family. Marcus enjoyed a simple youth raising cain with his brothers, sisters, and cousin. From an early age he enjoyed a blessing from lady luck which lead to his indoctrination by a wandering priestess of Tymora.

The return of Shade Enclave ended all those dreams. The poor weather ruined their fields. While several of his siblings joined the Purple Dragons in the battle of Tilverton, none returned. His family's destruction was complete when his cousin was found to have conspired with the Shadovar.

With his family dead or imprisoned and his lands forfeited, Marcus has taken to the road to escape Beshaba's gaze and find his Tymora again. Having come to the Sword Coast seeking gold and adventure, he is eager to test if his luck has changed.

Ok I know your caster heavy, but I went that route anyhow. Its FR an I just wanted to play a relic hunting wizard.

Hanathan Human male {Tethyrian] N Wizard 2

Spoiler:

Hanathan grew up poor along the crumbling towers of Iriaebor. He spent much of his youth scavenging for what little he could find, scrapping and staying clear of the city's well known tower warfare . Hanathan wished more, he wished to be one of the cities powerful, to be one of the elite, to one day be something other then a swear rat, something other then a homeless beggar, beneath notice of the cities powerful.

Hanathan wondered the city, looking for a way from his poverty and he stumbled upon an idea. To be a mage, he knew he was a bright lad and he knew he would not live as a beggar. It was with this determination he went from tower to tower of the cities mages, begging to be an apprentice. They turned him away, a few hurled spells at him burning and enchanting him, leading him to act as a dog for days on end. But Hanathan would not relent.

He found himself begging wizards on the street, he had become something of a joke among the wizards of Iriaebor yet still he tried and one day his begging paid off. He was burned by a fire mage, Ithocor the Red, but refused to run, he refused to back down he snapped he would die a beggar but he would not run.

Something about that amused Ithocor, he later told the boy a fire mag needs a spin and an inner fire, I saw that in you. For years he worked under the harsh hands of Ithocor, learning the ways of fire and the Art. Ithocor was as harsh as the fire he commanded. His training was both painful and harsh, ever pushing Hanathan to learn and to excel. Hanathan devoured magical lore hungrily ever eager for more. He ever wanted more, deep down he never wanted to be that powerless wretch again, never did he want others to treat him like a nothing.

The thing he hungered for was history and his fascination with magical cultures drove him to study more, to understand more and one item called to him like no other. The Nether scrolls, those vast items that made a backwater human kingdom into the master of the world, long lost and forgotten he hungers for them, for any and all lore and knowledge he can find and uncover.

Once Hanathan completed his apprenticeship to Ithocor he set out across the western heartlands in search of lost and forgotten relics, in search of spells and knowledge. He roams the land in search of those things lost to the sands of time, much is buried across the land, much has been lost or forgotten. Hanathan hungers to find it.

Hanathan, adventures to learn and uncover forgotten lore. His fondish wish is to uncover some or all of the legendary Nether scrolls, to gaze upon the lore that gave rise to the most powerful nation human kind has ever known

Yeah that should be fine. It suits the Goddess in a way anyway. Plus I said class varients are accepted. Hmm...should've written sub-domain instead perhaps.

Though I really like my paladin concept, I think I will bow out of this one. I am thinking of running my own AP on here soon and don't want to get to full of PC's to deal with. Thanks for the consideration though. Happy Gaming everyone.

This is Solarious, here is my Character bid.

All very good concepts and have been hoping to make the decisiona while ago. I've been struggling with trying to decide what concept I like, but of course as I said only 1 (don't want to go beyond 5, that's my limit) so it'll have to be...

*Drum roll*

Kyrina Sunchild, character of Solarious.

Great job everyone, you all made some very interesting characters.

Kyrina Sunchild additional background info:

You found that the group who saved the children is down a person. Whisper Blueflame asked if you could assist the group as she wishes to go off on something she does not wish to discuss. You realise she seems resistant in saying why. She decides to introduce you to the group before they leave and they all seem pretty riled up over something.

Congrats Solarious, have fun.
