Is it possible to prepay for a shipment or use something like a pre-purchased gift certificate?

Yes. I have put in and have multiple outstanding pre-orders using gift certificates I bought for myself.

Note, though, that you can't currently use gift certificates to pay for subscription shipments.

You can (or at least could) get virtual mastercard numbers through paypal which allowed you ti use the paypal account as your credit line. not sure if its still an option

I see Paypal offers a debit card that can draw off Paypal account funds.

Does Paizo accept the Paypal/Master Card debit card for purchases/subscriptions?
