Aranea?

Silver Crusade

So I was looking into Sivanah (the Diety) and saw that the viels each represent a different Race.

Sivanah's true form is disguised behind her seven veils, each of which is tied to a race (human, elf, halfling, gnome, aranea, and naga). Her true form is said to be that of a member of a seventh, unknown race.

Can, anyone tell me where I can get the stats on Aranea?

Thanks

Creepy, man real creepy. I like it. I don't think Aranea are open content. They appear in the 3.5 Monster manual 2.

Aranea were in the original Fiend Folio from 1980.

But the cover of Dungeon magazine (I think 139 or so) with the Aranea is when they first got real love.

And, ooh boy, did they ever get love.

Liberty's Edge

Aranea should be open content. The monsters that aren't won't appear in the SRD, or shouldn't at least. At the bottom of the page you'll find a disclaimer that says they're open game content.

Aranea are from the monster manual, and are thus open content in the SRD. More to the point, when we wrote and published that info about Sivhana, we were using the 3.5 books anyway, so at that time the arena was "in print" already.

BONUS SPOILER: They'll also be in the upcoming Bestiary 2. Along with most (but not all) of the other open content SRD monsters like blink dogs, frost worms, hippogriffs, and many more.
