Okay, this is OOC thread for people to discuss the campaign.

Step 1: City Creation

Okay, this is your chance to suggest things that you want to have included in the campaign. This is why I asked people to generate a list of five or six things that they feel would be good ideas.

With six players that should generate thirty to thirty-six 'ideas' of things that you think are interesting or might want to encounter in the campaign.

I'll then ask people to take that list of ideas and hold a vote (basically we will each prioritize the list the list of ideas with lowest scores getting chosen). We'll look for a starting list of around a dozen ideas to develop further.

You can also suggest a particular city in the world that you would like the campaign set or we can look at the ideas generated and see if a natural match comes out of the ideas.

What makes good ideas?

Critters - Various monsters, demons, fae, werewolves, vampires, old ones or other. Don't be limited by the novels. Choose the things that make you go, 'I've always wanted to fight that'.

Locations - Various locations or types of locations that have magical or spooky connections. Even though some locations belong to certain parts of the world (Stonehenge) there are usually similar locations in other parts of the world (or you can edit history to put it in your city).

Organizations - Various groups with city, region, national, or world significance connections. They could be a real group or a made up group if the concept is interesting (The Delphin Society is a made up group in the sample Baltimore city game which is interesting for its belief that HP Lovecraft was writing on real life experiences).

When suggesting your ideas, remember that you are 'selling' them to the other players; since, it is the group that will vote on what ideas get picked first to become part of the campaign.

In the end list, I'll make sure that each player has at least one idea that is collected into the final list; so, everyone has something in the campaign that is their creation.

I haven't looked at the system yet, but the setting appears ideally suited for urban fantasy. I've only spent a small amount of time in New Orleans, but I think it would be a great candidate for urban fantasy. Ghosts, zombies, voodoo, vampires... Katrina could have been the result of a spell gone awry!

My submission of a character: a veteran New Orleans cop who discovered the supernatural world during Katrina's landfall. Seeing that helping keep people safe was the whole reason he became a police officer, he was unable to simply stand by and let monsters run free. He took an early retirement and started traveling the country, looking for monsters. Aspect keywords might include "honorable," "law enforcement," "jaded," or "veteran." He'd likely be Pure Mortal (not knowing anything about the class other than the name) but making up for it with experience, weaponry, and a good gut feeling.

Male Humanoid Lurker 1/ Nerd 1

Aren't we all supposed to get together and figure out what elements we want the city to have, then make characters?

Don't get me wrong, New Orleans(or not-New Orleans, if we'd rather make up a city than play in one most of the group probably never even visited) is definitely appropriate for the genre and mixes well with the ideas people were throwing out in the recruitment thread, but things might end up going a different way.

Anyway, enemy idea:
-The Ghoul Court: Beneath the city (or in their abattoirs if we end up in somewhere that doesn't have an underground), the dead hold their court. If they are appeased, then there they stay. But displease the king, or when the moon runs red, and they will walk the earth once more and try to force others to join their ranks. (Really, I just wanted an excuse for zombies in large enough numbers to be a threat that are smart enough to hide themselves most of the time and able to play a role when they aren't actively killing people.)

Location: Underwater. Whether investigating on a modern underwater facility or trying to recover forgotten artifacts before something else, the additional perils and exotic creatures make for memorable stories. As a bonus, Underwater locations are often close to beaches!

Location: World-class museum. Lots of artifacts of historical, cultural and/or mystical significance right in plain site. For bonus points, they all come alive, a la 'Night at the Museum.'

Critters: Kraken, Man of War

Organization: Interpol. More often a patsy for supernatural powers than they realize, they still manage to accomplish some good. Recently, they've noticed an upswing in international traffic, but they can't figure out why.

Certainly this could work as a character.

But, let's build the city first. When we have a better understanding of the locations in the campaign and what people are interested in doing then we can figure out what 'corner' of the story-land that each player wants to claim for themselves.

Male Half Orc Cleric 2 Fighter 2

Here's a combined list from the initial recruitment thread of ideas people have suggested to this point and the latest ideas. If you have previously suggested an idea and think that you have a better idea then be free to put it on the table for the group to vote on.

1. FBI part of government doing supernatural investigation is good. It forms an element that can be combined into a story.

2. Lost Girl (another good program!) could develop into a hidden Fae court inside of a town or city.

3. I suppose with the Supernatural you could take that to be small family groups that do 'unofficial' hunting. They are unconnected to any larger organization and only have their own family and small groups of others to rely upon. Theme of this group might be more southern redneck. Basically guns, knives, and not much technology.

4. I suppose the Greywalker could again represent a separate hunter group but with a more native theme.

5. Necropolis, grave yard with catocombs dug under it (rome, paris). Under the control of some budding necromancers and their servants

6. Wolf town. Tribal lands.
The local tribe are all werewolves bears or what have you live a really long time but something is killing the elders

7. Savage garden. Local state park. See yellowstone. The wild Fey there are going nuts reason unknow.

8. Gate of Madness. Stone henge
Acient stone work has been rumored to be the link to other worlds for years now though things made of insanity have been crawling through on the dark of the moon.

9. The Deeps. Big greenie (the big ass reef near Australia)
Home to weird and nifty aquatic creatures the reef itself is sapient and sometimes gives people near by the power to breath the water around it is in need of aid as it is dying from pollution from the

10. Industrial sector. Oscorp like area. They perform strange experiments and dump the waste in to the lake near by no one knows how many have died in these labs the only reason angry ghosts haven't torn the place apart yet is that it sits over and taps a

11. Necrotic nexus. Think a freaky cave underground or something. A place that consumes the energy of nearby restless spirits suppressing them and funneling away their energy some of the energy can be tapped but most is funneled away somewhere to where no one knows.

12. Grand Lodge

I was a little confused before since our suggestions were open to places from all over the world rather than a shared location. Most of the things I was coming up with might be more appropriately described as "themes" rather than locations or items of interest. I'll just throw out a few things scatter shot.

1) Things fall apart: Urban or perhaps suburban wasteland. I was originally thinking about Detroit, but in this day and age this could just as easily be a subdivision which has been 90% foreclosed, areas of New Orleans that still stand boarded up, or the creepy house on a country lane that stands mysteriously abandoned with everything inexplicably still inside rotting away. Packs of wild dogs run the streets, maybe squatters have moved in.

2) The ghouls were also on my mind. Have you guys seen "Home", the episode of the X Files from the 4th season that was disturbing enough that they pulled it from repeats? It involved a family of severely mutated inbred country people living outside a Mayberry type of town. If you saw this episode, you would remember.

3) This is such a nice town, but some secrets are meant to be kept: There is a nice little lakeside town in a Neil Gaiman novel where life is good except for the children who occasionally go missing due to a deal that was made long ago. Explanations for disappearances are accepted at face value because this is such a quaint little town, nothing bad could happen here.
Also: American Gothic (90's tv series), Rosemary's Baby, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks.

4) Travel through dream worlds, dreams bleeding into reality, the lines are blurred, what is real?
The Sandman, Inception, A Scanner Darkly.

5) Anything Cthulu. Gates to other worlds (or the "nevernever") are standing open or being opened. Reality is warping around the disturbance.
In the Mouth of Madness, John Carpenter's "Cigarette Burns" (from the Masters of Horror Series), in a strange sort of way the hbo series Carnivale if you consider the preacher a conduit or gate.

6)I was always intrigued by the Denarians and wouldn't mind seeing more of them.

As far as location, I was considering the Ozarks, or maybe somewhere near the places in coal country (I think in West Virginia) that were evacuated years ago because veins of coal caught fire and have been burning for forty or fifty years straight. The ground eventually became unstable in places and homes started sinking where solid earth had become burned out caverns under them. I'm not particularly bothered by the location though and will pitch in to try and come up with some matching ideas once we know what it is.

If you already have your six players, I'm content to follow along. I'm in several other pbps, but this one was enough to tempt me to add another.

I suppose we can all make the city and figure out some character concepts and such, then before we stat them up the GM can just choose the six or so that fit together best and keep the rest of the potential PCs in the wing as background NPCs so they can get introduced easily if/when a player ends up dropping out.

Also, most of the ideas I was going to post right now were brought up by ithuriel, so another theme idea I just thought up.

Perceptions Are Everything: (Alternatively, The Sins That No One Sees Don't Count) It doesn't matter how much of a freak you are, as long as you put up a facade of normality. If it looks good, then it is good. It might be rotted out on the inside, but until that outer shell breaks open and reveals the corruption within no one's going to believe it.

If I had a framework for the location I would start looking up historical things, urban legends, maps and so on to see what kind of ideas they would inspire. At this stage the pitch is a little formless for me, so I hope we have a chance to refine and focus our pitches next.

Grand Lodge

Looking at the suggestions we have so far we need a coastal area, near the wilderness, but potentially with an urban hub.

Somewhere in the Gulf Coast? New Orleans? Gulf Port, Mississippi? Mobile, Alabama? Pensacola? Tampa?

Any thoughts on those places or something else entirely?

Yeah, somewhere on the Gulf Coast sounds good. Pretty sure the other player's suggestions won't be able to pull the city too far away at this point.

Grand Lodge

Gulf Coast area could offer some mostly forgotten and untended native american areas of power. Gates sealed by long dead shamen who had no one to take their places after the Trail of Tears.

I'm not set on this area. Just tossing things out to see what people think.

Yup, the idea is to first get the ideas out on the table and then work to see if it fits a classic city or something else is appropriate.

I mean if people had twenty some ideas of fae and fae relations then it would be more appropriate to situate at least part of the story in the NeverNever. If people had a big itch for witches then Salem and New England might be appropriate. If people are really into national organizations then a more X-Files traveling game might be appropriate.

It does seem that there is a general mix of very Urban (industrial, museums) and smaller communities like your reference to 'Home' in X-Files and small pleasant town like American Gothic.

Of the possible places that have also nautical choices there is the Gulf Coast and the North East Coast in the USA. There are other cities in other countries (being pbp I'd hate to eliminate European cities just because I don't live there as there may be people that do live there and can tell of some wonderful history).

Another case could be like Buffy and Angel where they took real places and just made up reasons for trouble like the 'Hell Mouth' and nefarious 'Law Firms'.

Once we get a list of potential ideas then we can work on developing them into Themes and Threats (something that I'll speak more on in a separate post). It will be at this point that we can look again at the list of ideas and our choice of 'city' and decide again if maybe something needs to be changed or tweaked to fit in.

So there will be more development and refinement of the ideas as we go along and maybe we'll decide to add something else later to the mix.

Male Half Orc Cleric 2 Fighter 2

Themes and Threats

I figured that I would take a moment to go over this as some people have been using these terms and I want to make sure everyone knows that in FATE these are game terms.

What are Themes and Threats?

Themes and Threats are a type of Aspect. They characterize elements of the story being told and influence the type of stories being told. Generally a game has Three Big Themes or Threats at any one time (so you have choice on what you want to focus on from game to game and not stuck doing the same thing week after week).

Within the 'city' each major location will have a Theme or Threat too. This may seem like a large number of Themes and Threats to keep track of and it can be. The key is to focus on only those things that are connected to your current story. Also, these themes and threats are invoked or compelled with fate points. Fate points spent both by the players and by the villains in the game.

What is a Theme?

A 'theme' in FATE is not the same as a theme in literature but there is some relationship. A theme is a big idea or story arc in FATE. Themes tend to be less defined and best represent an overall problem like corruption of government or a large group like the Red Court where it can survive several stories that involve attempts to change the situation.

Let's face it, removal of one mafia don will just promote another to fill the other person's position. The new don might be somewhat different but the don will still run the gangs of the city. Dresden faces this trouble with Marcone as he could blast Marcone to over cooked french fries but then some other don which didn't have the same working relationship would be promoted. Corruption in Chicago is a bigger problem then one Wizard can solve on their own over a weekend.

What is a Threat?

A 'threat' in FATE is a more singular problem. Instead of a large organization or general problem it is more specific like a Haitan Voodun Cult or Egyptian Tomb Lord risen again to enslave all people.

Threats can often be affected in a few stories and change more rapidly. If you cut off the head of Dracula then it will be a while before Dracula has an opportunity come back to cause people problems.

City verses Location?

City Threats and Themes are the Big Story that drives things along. The Winter and Summer Courts choosing to have a battle with Chicago caught in the crossfire is an example. If you go somewhere in the city then you will see some sort of mark or repercussion of this theme or threat.

For example, the devastation of Katrina on New Orleans. Even neighborhoods that weren't flooded have been impacted by the events that occurred to the rest of the city and everyone 'knows' the story. It characterizes everything.

Location Threats and Themes are more specific. It is the spooky house on the cul-de-sac or the building that is owned by the mob. If you stay out of the area then you won't encounter the problem as opposed to a City problem which you can't really escape.

Okay, that's the mini-rule talk for the day. ;>

Locale:

Subway:

"Ever wonder why the Fey don't do much in New York? It's the damned subways. The subways opened up something that's dangerous, and the Fey cleared out centuries ago. It's also why New Yorkers have no sense of humor; being around the Fey tends to give one a lighter outlook on life. Or maybe it's the influence of the thing they woke up."

Lost Children

"In a city this size, kids go missing. Oh, sure, it's all on the news with amber alerts and orange alerts when it's the daughter of some rich suburbanite, and the pictures are photogenic. When it's a kid from the projects? The cops, they tend to think it's a runaway., wait for the kid to come home, and then just shake their hands. Justice is what you can afford, and a lot of the people out there can't afford much."

UPS Shield Logo.

"Ask any adept, and they'll say the Brown Shields are up to something. It's only been a decade since UPS changed their logo to a shield from a package, and I can't help but wonder - are the brownshirts in the brown trucks up to something more sinister than just dropping off Amazon packages? And why is it that the thing you sign on never seems to show your signature when you write on it? And there's that funny form you can fill out at the UPS shops directly, with addresses that don't show up on any map...and aren't available on the web site."

(This is "UPS as 'hidden army of adepts' and 'conduit to the NeverNever')

The Hidden Ways

"There's this family, they live on an old farmhouse outside of town. They always seem to be well enough off, their kids went off to college...they didn't seem to come after anybody. But some of them, they talk with strange accents. And sometimes, they have relatives in from out of town that nobody knows how they got there. And what's that thing with teaching their sons how to use swords as a hobby?"

I don't think that I have any openings at the moment. I'll know more once city generation is done and players are turning more into character creation.

Themes
1. Ghosts. Ghosts everywhere. Can't really get rid of them. The weight of the supernatural energy creates a Hellmouth-type effect that simply gets worse the more ghosts get added.
2. Vampires. Imagine the White Court creating Mardi Gras as a way to collect sexual energy for their own purposes. It's gained enough momentum that it doesn't even need to be organized by the White Court anymore.

Threats
1. A rogue voodoo practitioner goes on a bender, killing people to fuel his spells. While his goal is unclear, law enforcement is quickly called in to investigate what appears to be a simple serial killer. If caught, he will wreak havoc on an unprepared police force. He must be dealt with before he can be caught.

Male Half Orc Cleric 2 Fighter 2

Okay, with Barcus's thoughts on Ghosts, Mardis Gras, and Voodun it seems that there is at least three people (four or five if you include calls for a mix of coastal and necropolis type campaign) that would favour a setting like New Orleans.

So, do you want to settle on New Orleans and the surrounding areas as the 'City' for the campaign?

I'll keep track of votes and if we get four or five 'yes' votes then we'll go with it.

Of some things I would be interested in...

The Fae, are always sooooooo much fun. ;) They could easily encompass all treat/theme types.

Perhaps some minor demons. You do not see a lot of them. I am not sure how powerful they are, but perhaps some cult is running around with control (or they think they have control).

Love the UPS idea above. So much one could do with that.

I suppose through much of the Americas any sort of Native myths/legends. And how the spirits perhaps need help from some coming doom/nasty.

Some White Council action is a must. Either working with... along side... or even against can be interesting.

Once we have picked a particular city, I intend to look into it's history and such, to help better understand it and what sort of myths and the like are associated with the area. Of course, it might be something in character to do as well.

I do not really know much about New Orleans besides all the big news reported... living up here in Canada. I can see it having lots of potential. So I would not be adverse to the idea.

You realize there's an Acadian community in Canada (Acadians were the root stock of the Cajun and Voudoon)?

I find the idea of "Vampires in N'Awlins' to be cliche-ridden to the point of sillyness, what with Anne Rice, White Wolf and True Blood mining it into the mulch.

Plus, have you seen the size of the cockroaches they grow there? :)

There are extensive expat communities of Carribean descent in other cities to exploit. Besides, everyone expects voodoo and vampires in N'Awlins. Would the cops in Fargo be able to handle it? :)

True, and then the Dispora happened when the British tried to kick the Acadian's out of New Brunswick (which caused the settlement in other areas). Some later drifted back to New Brunswick.

I'm a Canadian too, Songdragon; so, I'm as foreign to New Orleans as you but have done some reading for purposes of other games (So I know of things like the French Quarter but couldn't really describe it to someone).

Toronto has a big Caribbean community in Canada and has a big celebration every summer. It lacks an Ocean but has a large lake.

There are plenty of French-Canadian places throughout Florida if you still wanted to keep with the southern theme.

Las Vegas has no Ocean but is an odd ball draw of almost anything (though you would lack historical existing problems and only tap into recent history for 'trouble' transplanted to the area).

I was thinking Toronto or Oregon, really.

Ocean, culture, urban, small communities, hasn't been done yet, to my knowledge. Although I did find the Great Barrier Reef to be a fascinating idea, too.

In the end, though, I'd be happy with New Orleans.

You could certainly do one or two stories in a small town setting but I think the 'joke' would lose the value pretty quick.

Mind you, True Blood, Eerie Pennsylvania, and Eureka are all examples of plenty of weird in a small town (or for a more Canadian fell check out Rabbit Falls).

So, it is certainly possible to have stories of evil in a small town. It would certainly affect the scope of the evil and organizations present (harder to hide 50 worshipers of Cthulhu in a town of 800 people).

Unless you were doing a town full of 'monsters'. This then has a village 'reserve' type of feel. A town of Yokai is common story in Anime.

Cliche? Maybe. But making a cliche work in a different way can be different. For instance, New Orleans vampires could be the ones who spread the angsty eternal torment myth to garner emotional sympathy, which they need on a certain level.

Toronto might be a good pick. Universal health care is a conspiracy hiding something darker...

Thanks to the "easy" travel of the Nevernever, other cities and environments can be added without a ton of difficulty.

Male Humanoid Lurker 1/ Nerd 1

Yeah, New Orleans probably fits our ideas too well. I mean, being in New Orleans itself would just be expected at this point. Don't get me wrong, I like the general mystique of the city and it wouldn't be too hard to subvert expectations. But if most of the players want to be somewhere else, it's fine by me.

No worries... and yes I knew of some Canadian connections to New Orleans. I am out on the west coast, so I do not hear too much of it.

I am fine with New Orleans. I think it would be better to have some place larger than a small town. Vancouver, Seattle are nice for me, as they are in my backyard, but I am all for expanding my comfort zone.

I could even see a small group of Back Court in New Orleans, with all the recent happenings. Undead of some type would be a large draw. And the amphibian draw is there as well.

What sort of timeline are we working with in the Dreseden Verse? While they do not state any exact years, I am looking at what book and such. As a lot happens from beginning to the last of the series. Red Court is the over all big bad. But aren't they all.

I think we can avoid having people like Murphy and Dresden come wandering through the campaign.

It will be an 'alternative' Universe but the general rules of magic and major organizations will still exist.

There is a White Council, there are courts of fae, there are courts of vampires, and other nasties out there in the world.

Players are free though to make up or lift from other sources new or different themed organizations.

I was almost in a Dresden Game as a player where I was considering the several different lines of Voodun and their interaction (the GM in that game set up had declared New Orleans). I was thus looking at African, Haitan, and New Orleans variations and their interplay. There are also a few different variations in Latin Countries under other names. It is an interesting wiki/google topic to look through.

If someone was big on Japanese or Chinese Mythology, there is no reason that could not be brought into the campaign even though the Dresden Universe; so far, hasn't dealt with it much.

While werewolves and shifters have been covered some in Dresden Universe there are many variations in Native American mythology that haven't been explored and could be fun to explore.

There is no requirement to stick with what is in the books.

You could even likely get away with someone who has some psychic powers and it would still fit inside the game.

Sounds good. I have no problem with no having known characters walking about.

If we do Toronto, there is some in with the Jade Court (one of the gangs in Toronto is14K Triad) or as you mentioned some Asian Mythology.

So many possibilities... :)

Okay, it doesn't look like we have enough support for the idea of New Orleans.

There has been the suggestion and support for the idea of Toronto.

Toronto is a large multi-cultured town with popular nicknames of 'Toronto the Good' and 'Hoggstown'. It was burned once by the Americans resulting in the burning of Washington, DC (and the 'creation' of the White House).

It has subways and plenty of underground tunnels, basements, and stores that connect in all directions (harsh winter conditions will do that).

So, is Toronto good as the model for our 'city'?

Grand Lodge

I know next to nothing about Toronto. The only thing I could have told you about Toronto is that it is near Buffalo, NY. I can agree that New Orleans is maybe a little over done in urban fantasy so maybe it would be good to try a place where everything is fresh for us.

I really like the idea of it having extensive subterranean networks. It is also on Lake Ontario which covers our waterfront angle.

What is the standard on gun ownership in Toronto? Legal with license? Hunting only? I have no idea on these things but it might come into play with some characters.

A quick look around pulled up this:

http://spacingtoronto.ca/2009/07/24/secret-garden-at-eglinton-flats/ It is hidden, yet in the shadow of skyscrapers. the gardener is an "anonymous newcomer" and the govt organization who owns the land are perhaps just turning their heads to allow it to continue. From the pictures you can see it is also int he shadow of a bridge going over a river or creek. I don't know what, but something could be made of that in a supernatural mirror of Toronto.

Here's something about an ghost town in the making:
http://spacingtoronto.ca/2010/02/20/brougham-a-lost-village-in-the-making/ A village with 25 - 33% of structures standing empty and boarded up. Who knows what could be going on there? Also- it seems like there are a lot of lost villages in the Greater Toronto area. Places that got bypassed when new highways came through, driven out by the expansion of the airport, etc. The airport expansion overtook the village of Elmsbank. This required the relocation of 622 graves of Irish Catholic parishioners from a forgotten village 10 years ago. There is nothing left of the village but a road that used to lead there and now just stops at nothing and on the eastern border two stone cottages where the descendants of one of the founders still live.

What is the standard on gun ownership in Toronto? Legal with license? Hunting only? I have no idea on these things but it might come into play with some characters.

http://panda.com/canadaguns/ is one of the first links I found in a Google search. From what I have read, it is possible to have firearms of various sorts (even for non-residents) if you obtain the right license and registrations. Several prohibited firearms as well. But depends on who you are, you get do thinks in an unlawful manner.

I vote for Toronto.

Hey, the White House was already built at that point. It needed to be rebuilt, but it was still created before it was burnt down. (/pedant)

Anyway, I don't know a damn thing about Canadian cities, so I'll just assume it would be appropriate.

Yup, that is why I put 'created' in quotation marks. The building was there but it was evidently beige in colour. I remember being told that there was a lack of paint dye after the Washington fire (I think the local paint factory was one of the places that got burnt). Anyways, they were forced to go with white paint as a result.

Since that time it has just been tradition to keep with the white.

Now, a supernatural speculator might make comparisons in name to White House and White Court. Could there have been more going on at the time and in the raid there was a change of leadership in Washington???

If that was the case then who was in Toronto at the time that Americans were attempting to burn out with their own raid? Are they still around?

[ This is the fun part of speculating. Start with some details that are 'real' and make up additional stories on top of them. ]

So I just quit my one of mý pbp on account of the gm is a jerk and kept telling me to change my character for "story reasons" oh and I have dislexia so when I messed up a few things he jumped me in email so. You guys are now on my primary focus list what do we have left todo boss??

Also on the city note let's take a map of a city and put it some where that fits what we need geographicly and give it a new name.....

I'd rather go with the standard of using a real city which we will then turn into a Dreden-verse version of that city. It gives you a nice framework to build on. Toronto is fine by me. I can vote for that.

I prefer to too but if we can't get a consensus then we may have to go with that. Anyway I'm off to bed for a bit have to work tonight.

Looking at Wikipedia, there was a big fire in 1904 in Toronto. Perhaps some supernatural event occurred there.

You've got one issue that I see, which is that the crime rate is not high enough to cover up a ton of supernatural murder. Their homicide rate is 3.3/100K, about 1/3rd of Los Angeles and 1/2 of New York.

Also, it's so cold!

I'd love to play in this, due to my abject man-love for Harry Dresden, but even if not, I'll be watching!

Actually you could make that a City Trait: Too Cold for Crime.

Grand Lodge

A couple of ways to address that. Either the white council or some other organization exercises an iron fist over the supernatural in the city which could be a problem for the players, or the city has invested into the idea of safety to the point that they fabricate the statistics. Red Court or White Court could have people in power to massage the officially reported numbers.
