And... a couple more..
For kinetic blasts, could you add an area for simple blasts and another for composite blasts? They do have different damage values:
Physical simple blast = 1d6 + 1 + CON + (1d6 + 1)/2lvls
Energy simple blast = 1d6 + CON/2 + 1d6/2lvls
Physical composite blast = 2d6 + 2 + CON + (2d6 + 2)/2lvls
Energy composite blast = 2d6 + CON/2 + 2d6/2lvls

The next version will have consolidated skills.
If I roll a 20, it might even get them right...
And... a couple more..
Thanks. I'm going to have to take some time to think about that feedback. Expanding a class to two full pages is not a decision to take lightly. Chances are it won't make it into the imminent release.

Oh, my suggestion to make it a full 2 pages was just incidental. My main suggestions were to have an area for both simple and composite blasts, more lines for the expanded elements and their basic utilities, another space for expanded defense, etc. Adding those things would take up some room, so I suppose I had simply assumed you would want to take it 2 pages to add those things, if you could.

Finally!
I've been working on this release for a long, long time. A few of you might have emailed me about it once or twice. Well, I know it was a long time, but the wait is over.
Here are a few of the things that have changed.
Occult and Unchained!
The six new classes in Occult Adventures are included, including a version of the Kineticist with the extra elements.
Also included are the four variant classes from Pathfinder Unchained.
German and French translations!
You can now play in more languages than ever before, thanks to many months of work by many volunteers -- 13 German and 8 French! There are also lots of fixes to the existing Italian, Spanish and Polish translations.
Don't underestimate how much work these guys have done. This is a huge project, and none of them are being paid for it. My thanks to all of them.
(The French version of core classes isn't quite complete, but it's good enough)
If you'd like to help translate the character sheets into your own language, send me a message.
Other stuff
Fixes to broken stuff: 3.5 Psionics, uploading your own logo.
Skills: Consolidated skills, a blink skills list, better handling of pseudo-skills like Concentration, translated skills in alphabetic order.
GM: Party and NPC groups of varying size.
Lots more character pictures, triangular initiative marker.
Patreon
Apparently nobody quite understood Flattr. It was a nice idea, but without enough traction it just didn't work.
So instead I've now started a Patron instead. I've no idea how successful it'll be. But if you can't afford to donate, don't worry: everything here is still free and it's staying that way.
Next
The next item on my to do list is "Fix everything I just broke". I've no idea what it is yet, but I'm sure there's plenty of it.
The new Vigilante class should be high on my list. It's a little tricky in that all the interesting features appear to be in the archetypes.
Finally, I plan to take advantage of the new skill system to save space on class sheets by removing pseudo-skills like Concentration and Disarm Traps.

Since I've finally got round to playing a Witch first hand, here's a first stab at a version of the Witch that uses an extra half-page for hexes. This let me give the hexes a little extra space and fill in a number of things that I felt were under-represented in the original.

Hey I have a guy that wants to play a psychic in a campaign I am running and I downloaded your psychic sheet from your site and noticed that it seems to be missing the class specific page that you released in this tread. I went ahead and downloaded the class specific page but I thought I would give you a heads up.

Any comments on the expanded Witch?
I'm working on fixing some issues that have been reported with the latest release, most of them translation related. Like this masterpiece. I have no idea what's happened there.
sadie |
Well, I've been sorting out some bank stuff out, helping write a quiz for the anime society barbecue, planning a video workshop for a convention in the summer, relearning how to dance, arranging to go see my mother...
I'm guessing that's not what you meant. :)
The latest update fixed a lot of things but also introduced a few more bugs that I need to fix, mostly related to translations. In terms of new content I've got the Vigilante basically done already, then I need to fill in the archetypes of the Wizard, Sorcerer, Fighter and Rogue that have been languishing. A lot of people have asked for Magus and Gunslinger archetypes.
I've got the aformentioned expanded Witch, which I'd appreciate feedback on.
I've also got an alternative version of the Kingdom sheet that splits the money into a separate sheet to do it properly (double entry book-keeping! yay accountancy!)
The latest release expanded on the pseudoskills in the skills list (eg Locate Traps and Concentration), which means I can start removing some of those from the overly-busy class sheets.
Sadly, given the overwhelming quantity of stuff Paizo publish, I don't currently have time to work on more third party content. Which is a shame, because there's a lot of really good third party content that would I would love to include - I have a list, with extra notes and ranked popularity and everything.

Paizo does publish like breeding rabbits, don't they?If only it was all rubbish I could dismiss it, but noooo, they have to keep publishing good stuff. They never think about the little guy...
:D
Anime convention. I was anime before I was D&D. It still takes too much of my time and income.
Tell your mom random people say hello!
I... er... okay, I'll do that. Not sure how she'll react to that.

Hello again, I am sorry to bother you but I noticed that the Medium, Psychic, and Spiritualist downloads (and possibly the other Occult classes as well) are missing the inventory sheet. Just thought I would let you know.
Oh, and by the way, your Beta Vigilante sheet looks awesome. You are only missing a spot for the Vigilante Specialization. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Hi.
First of all, I've been using your sheets for quite some time now and I must say that you've done masterful job. You really helped my games run more smoothly and my players are happier with your sheets than any other.
Now, several suggestions and questions:
1) Is there a possibility of adding a portrait option to the first page?
2) Is there a possibility of you doing a character sheet for talent-based classes, published by Rogue Genius Games? I think it would be enough to simply add "Talents" table before "Feats".
3) Can you suggest a program for writing into your sheets? I have my own consolidated skills and I'd like to add them on your blank sheet, but whenever I try to use some pdf software to do so, or to fill in other stuff, results are not great. Here is the example of skill that I want to incorporate into your sheets. Any suggestion would be helpful but I am grateful for your work anyway :)

Where would it go? The first page is pretty much full. In the left column, stealing space from the Feats & Special Abilities area?

I'd love to add more third-party classes and material (and Rogue Genius are consistently around the top of the list), just as soon as Paizo stop publishing so much! I'm behind on hundreds of archetypes. There are also a lot of enhancements people have asked for, such as the ability to select pictures of animal companions, and bugs to fix in the translations.
3) Can you suggest a program for writing into your sheets? I have my own consolidated skills and I'd like to add them on your blank sheet, but whenever I try to use some pdf software to do so, or to fill in other stuff, results are not great.
The latest version has an option to leave the skills list blank, which allows you to write your own skills in. It's not as pretty as printing them, I know, but believe me there's more complexity than you'd think in writing a correct skills list (one, two, three).

I've answered lots of individual questions about it, but never gathered them into one place as a tutorial or FAQ. I suppose that would be a helpful thing for creators. It would cover both private edits and contributing to the project for everyone. I'll see about making such a thing.
I recently moved the git repositories for this project in order to take advantage of Git LFS (and to give them a nicer name). You can now find them at:
github.com/dyslexic-charactersheets
The pages repo contains all the raw Illustrator files for both Pathfinder and D&D 3.5, which is what you'll need for personalised edits. You'll need a copy of Illustrator, which can be expensive, or a free alternative such as InkScape (or mumblesomethingorothermumble for the Mac).

Evidence suggests... slowly. :D
Sorry, I haven't actually read any of the new book yet. I have the Vigilate more or less ready to roll, but there's some stuff happening with the Polish translation, and some stuff I still didn't get round to fixing with the German translation.

The sheets do look very lovely. I'd love to use them, but the check boxes on the class pages don't seem to print very well, regardless of the printer I use (4 thus far have all had the same issue). Being slightly OCD, the missing or misprinted check boxes would irk me to no end.
And it's kind of sad, because I bought premium paper and a new ink cartridge just to print out those sheets.

Since I can't edit my original post any longer, I just wanted to add that after some playing with some programs and settings, I think the computers I'm using are describing a line that is too thin for the printer to print, which is odd since it's only certain lines and boxes that are skipped. To get around that I was able to rasterize the sheets and get them to print without any loss of lines or check boxes, but the cost was the loss of the finer definition of the sheets.
I do have two questions about the sheets, now. Do you know if you created these sheets as a vector graphic file? If so, do you have a control to make those lines thicker?
sadie |
That sounds very strange. What program are you using to open and print the sheets? Can you send me a picture of what it's doing to them? I've sent you a PM with my email address.
The original files are here. They're Adobe Illustrator vector files (which is actually a strange form of PDF under the hood.

The website is still real. GitHub is just a behind-the-scenes place for working together and develop it. While it's true that it tends to get new things quicker, it also gets things brokener.
(you know what I mean)
I know I don't update the website as often as I should. The Vigilante is coming soon, I promise.

Super excited for the vigilante sheet, I am going to be playing a new campaign and I am making a vigilante for it and this sheet will make life sooooo much easier.
Thank you for all your hard work and cheers!

Hey Sadie,
If I am looking to make my vigilante relatively soon, should I use the beta sheet you released + one of the other sheets? Do you have a suggestion for which other character would be closest and easiest to adapt to the vigilante needs?
Thank you again for your work!

Vigilante is published!
I'm sorry it took so long. One reason for that is that I included the archetypes for it. The reason is simple: the Vigilante is all about the archetypes.
I did something a bit different with the design this time. To emphasise the dual identities of a Vigilante, I used a split landscape page with a darker, straighter left half and a lighter right half. Some of the archetypes - such as the ones with spellcasting ability - ended up being quite convoluted. I may have to rejig them in the future, after people have had a chance to play with them and give feedback.
I've also been changing some stuff with the hosting behind the scenes, so if you notice anything broken or misbehaving let me know.

Sadie, how will you be doing the Corruption from the new Horror Adventures book?
