The boards are down for me this very second! What's going on here? My day is ruined if I can't read and post on these boards.
I guess it's time to necro this thread -- I get this error page (as described by the Original Poster) when I try to update one of my character sheets, but not if I don't paste in the actual updated "About . . ." section (that is, I can modify the small form fields and it works if I don't try to modify the large text section).
However, unlike the original poster, if I click on the link below the error message to return to Paizo's site, this link always works (at least so far).
Edit: Even tried to create another avatar to split part of the character sheet to, but when I try to create an avatar with the suffix "(Extended Crunch)" I get an error message "That is not a valid avatar name".
Edit #2: Apparently the messageboards won't allow parentheses in an avatar name, even though they allow commas or apostrophes. Also, managed a temporary workaround by splitting the character sheet across 2 avatars (here and here) -- apparently the messageboards have some kind of length limit for character sheets (based upon the longest one that has so far not had a problem, I am going to make a rough guess of 65535 characters).
We do have a upper cap on the size of character sheets, mainly for performance reasons.
