I've been wondering lately... Just what makes a hag a Hag?
How do they come about? Are there male "hags"? Or, are hags just unfortunate creatures who have been twisted by fell magics, perhaps as a former witch who's patron led them down a path where redemption is beyond their reach?
How do hags reproduce? Do they seek unsuspecting males as mates, where female children result in the next generation and males are little more than food?
thoughts or ideas?

Most of this is explored in depth in Classic Horrors Revisited under the Hags section.
This book is really worth it if you are interested in even one or two of the creatures inside. There are lots more details, but I don't want to paraphrase it all here out of respect for Paizo. You might try checking on the PathfinderWiki as they might have more details without actually buying the book.

Many thanks Red... I don't have that book yet. I guess I should be ordering that one "soon".
