Granted, not as bad as Kyle and from the sounds of Doug's post earlier, Kyle is getting stepped on hehehehe

FYI to GM's...You can register for events without purchasing a GM badge. Just buy the events tickets you want. The customer service rep for Ucon, Laura Hamel, will send you an email if you buy event tics without a badge. You can reply to her that you are a GM for PFS and she will process it anyway. Doug should have your GM badge when you arrive.

Well, that's not good. I probably won't be able to run anything on Sunday - our flight home leaves Detroit just after 4pm. Friday and Saturday are fine though

Looks like I will have some free time after all. Just put in for some Volunteer time, now looking for play time. So far, following the Founts of Wisdom (read: Bluster) posted above, I should avoid Kyle "WildMan" Baird and possibly Doug "Massacre" Miles. Well? I'll look for playing the lower tiers. Anyone need a Cleric?

Iiiiiiffffff the time off Gawds smile upon me, I'll be running Infernal Vault on Friday -- I think anyway lol, Doug may be telling me different

I've got you tentatively down for Infernal Vault. The rest of your time is open for play, unless like Bob you insist on GMing as much as possible.

I'm not quite the GM slut that Bob is .. I like to play and there are new mods that I haven't played yet lol. I just don't know what Friday is going to look like for me .. tho hopefully should in a couple of weeks *sigh*

You should probably try to get to whatever Doug sets me up with. I'm famous for never never ever being cruel to PCs.

Said the spider to the fly.

Actually, I go more for the social aspect, not necessarily a Powergamer. I just enjoy the game for its own sake, I've been known to give up treasure as per character profile. Its certain players I make a note of avoiding moreso than DMs. Cruel DMs I can deal with, it is the dice gawds who are vindictive.

Doug,

Where's the cheapest hotel you would recommend? I really need to slum it to keep the fundage in order. I think I'll just be there Friday night and drive home Saturday after the special. Also, when abouts will you be kicking copies of the special out to the GMs? I want to draw me some maps.

When I was searching, the Red Roof Inn (about 7 or 8 blocks away) was about the cheapest I saw

Are you bringing the wife or going stag? I have 3 rooms reserved at the Microtel, and am planning on staying there myself rather than commuting from home. I can split a room with you if you like, $50 for the whole weekend.

I'm sans wife for the weekend, so it sounds like a swell idea to share a room!

It looks like I may be coming as well. Will work out the details this weekend but add 2 to the list of players.

That's some kind of dedication! I recall when a friend and I drove from Detroit to Minneapolis for a Shield Lands special. We're happy to have you :)

Wow people are coming from all over, Canada, Australia (Wes gets a prize for the furthest traveled I think lol), Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota.. Defiantly a coo for the con I would think (tho I'm still considering myself a con newb maybe this is common)

How are you running the PPP rules at U-con? My buddy and I just tried to work out the schedule of games to play over the weekend and it looks like I can not play anything on Saturday.

Do I still buy tickets for the tables just in case I can get in on the PPP rule? or should i just punt? I am still a little fuzzy on how this works.

I do not have anyone that is high enough level to get into the Heresy series yet.

The Exchange 5/5

Is there something you would like to request or have you played everthing available within your level range? PPP is an option, and we have five tables per slot of Before the Dawn on Saturday, so if we need to spread players out to make it legal we should have a lot of leeway. I would rather offer something that you haven't played previously though. We are expecting as many as 30 new players on Saturday (long story) so that's why there are so many tables of Before the Dawn scheduled. These players have no preference as far as what scenarios they play, they just are there to play. This gives me a lot of room to offer 'wildcard' scenarios, so name your demands now :)

I went to Gencon and Dragon con this year so i was able to play all the low level Azlant ridge stuff and the city of strangers. I also did the lodge (which was a blast). I have a 3 Alchy and a 2 Magus. The Alchy is who went through the two cons.

MisterSlanky has requested that we save the Devil we know series and Delerium for him and the minneapolis PFS group.

I plan on playing #5 & #7 on friday and there is one on sunday morning I can do.

At your rate of module consumption plus the retirements, there won't be anything left to play or run.

Yeah, the timing of the retirements hurts to some degree although I do not think that many of them were on the schedule to be ran at U-Con.

My ultimate goal is to get one toon up so we can include the higher or mid tier games in our possible play pool in Minneapolis. We can always have low level toons for when we have to do newbie games or keep from playing up.

I registered and got hotel room. Though this is the first year I'm not bringing other Florida people.

I just of was gonna ask if there would be a warhorn site for muster reasons cause picking games and whether or not to play a higher lvl or a mid lvl or lower was the hardest part of registering.

Also, doesn't anyone know who is judging what mods?

Last year, Frank was so nice and the first time I played PF with him, different than the old LG times we had.

There was also a very nice judge, though hard, that ran us though the mod with monkeys and crocodiles in the river, but I don't recall his name. If anyone knows who he is, I'd like to tell him that he made it one of the most fun PF mods.

Are you sure you played at U-Con? No one meeting that description was GMing last year...

We are not using Warhorn for mustering. There is a placeholder for U-Con there that directs people to the U-Con site.

are you saying that there were no nice judges last year? or that there were no monkies last year? cause I'd be more sad about the no monkies .. monkies are cute and fuzzy and fun to pet.

Yeah, I know it's still hard to choose when signing up though cause you have no idea of table makeup.

Yes I was there last year, my mate flew up from Florida. And if you remember, Doug, we went to the pub after and I watched the rest of the Gator's game. It was played in the last slot on friday or saturday and we had a full table playing and there were monkeys and crocs (the gator and chickens were mine), there was also a evil outsider female npc but most of the mod was great and fun, and at time we were all silly (which happens if you remember how stupid my higher character can be).

Doug Doug,
is there a GM schedule yet? I signed Amy and me up to play two games (No Plunder No Pay and the Special) but I can be flexible if you need. I was hoping to get on that table Kyle was sorting out for Trisha but again flexibility is the key. For Sunday morning, I could run MotFF but anything else would likely make me miss the plane home (bad juju). Sent you a private email but no response.
Looking forward to a fun weekend!!

Wes, I apologize for not responding. I think I have you down for playing every slot but the Special (which I had assumed you played at GenCon). I will confirm this tomorrow. I could certainly put you to work running Bloodcove Disguise and Azlant Ridge on Saturday. I would hate for you to do nothing but sit around and wait for your flight on Sunday so we'll figure out something you can GM that runs fast. Do any of the retiring scenarios catch your fancy?
