Yes, More reports please! I'm stuck here at home attending a work related conference thru Saturday and I can't come! :-(

What is Paizo's contribution to the swag bag?

How's the Delve?

Thanks in advance.

I hope there will be but I doubt there will be a new martial base class

I think the Magus will probably cover this aspect for right now. Given it's pending arrival I'm wondering if Paizo is going to try and fix the dual class desire by just presenting a base class that does it. The Magus definitely covers mage/fighter.

Anything cool?

2) How's the Delve?

1) A different GenCon button design each day of Con.

Thursday's = Iconic Oracle
Friday's = Goblin w/ gold bracelets & jewelry
Saturday's = Goblin w/ d20
Sunday's = Iconic Summoner
(schwag-bag coupon reminded you to get 'em)

I heard many Con-goers commenting/complaining that this was the worst schwag-bag in many years of GenCon. I don't know about all that, but my local Con's bag offers much more. /shrug

2) Unfortunately, I never had time to play one, but each time I walked by Tim or Jason running a table, everyone was having a great time!

Bonus) The Special Pathfinder Event was to a packed house Saturday night! There were loud cries for Victory as the mighty Overlord (Tim Hitchcock) guided the eager hoards of Pathfinders through waves of Goblins and Dragons!

I was scheduled to GM the second part of Eric's Society module 'Eyes of the Ten' and a qualified table of twelfth levels didn't muster. Damnit!

The quality of play (on my tables) this weekend was much, much higher than I expected! I taught and learned a lot this weekend and earned a Cuban cigar for being a great Judge! Thank you again 'Fearless', it was YUMMY!

You can be certain that our next episode of the p-cast will be full of tales from GenCon!

If I remember correctly, during Secrets of Golarion seminar, I believed they hinted at a Jade Empire AP debuting next Gencon!

THIS and THIS.

Briefly, Paizo had a great booth, handing out buttons and free mini of the main character from the Prince of Wolves novel, as well it's author doing a signing.

Delve was quite hard, 45 minutes to destroy 2 encounters with 4th level pre-gens. The great thing was it was free, it was more of an introduction to the pathfinder game. Having played many of the WOTC Delves I hope that Paizo expands the Delve next year, charging tickets and rewarding players with tokens or whatever for prizes, just a thought.

Pathfinder Society - I cannot praise Paizo more. Most of the events sold out and they fit room for people with generic tickets. I spent most of my time here along with my brother. The GM's did a marvelous job, great job DM Blaze.

Speaking of Swag, yeah this year was kinda bleh. But I think it is the way of the future. I think basically SWAG is a huge expense, compared to smaller marketing done at individual booths.

The one negative thing I have to say about gencon. Need more pathfinder, not in a bad way. All night sessions for the hardcore, late night delve etc...

Swag has gotten progressively worse every year I've been at Gen Con. At this point unless something amazing happens to the economy, I think we've hit a point where the coupon book and Gen Con D6 is going to be the highlight.

Alternatively, we may see more vendors go the route of Paizo - rewards for visiting the booth, not just a random piece of swag in the bag that doesn't promote the customer actually visiting.

I have to wonder, did you mean "DM Blake"?
