Rogue Sniper + Far Shot

I want to be sure these two things interact the way I think they do. Far shot reduces the penalty per range increment to a -1. The Sniper Archetype at first level reduces the penalty by half.

So, for the second range increment the sniper has no penalty: -1 halved (round down) = 0

For the third increment it is a -1 penalty: -2 halved (round down) = -1

For the fourth it would still be a -1: -3 halved (round down) = -1

Is this right? I assume the round down part since that is usually SOP.

IMO I would do -1 for the first 3 range increments, -2 for the second 3 range increments, etc. Or not let them stack at all.

I don't think they would stack and I definitely would not round a penalty down to zero. You never round hit point damage down to zero and I think this is a similar situation.

I agree with the not rounding down a penalty to zero, but I would definitely allow them to stack. I mean one specifically says that it reduces the penalty from -2 per increment to -1 per increment, and the other says it halves all range increment penalties, so I see no reason to not let them stack. So what if you can fire an arrow 1000+ feet and take only a -5 penalty? I'm a believer in the rule of AWESOME.
