I've tried searching this section, but I can't find the thread I was looking for, even though I'm sure it exists.
1) Is there a way to purchase products (physical or pdf) for another person, and have them personalized with their details?
2) If that person is another poster, is it possible to pay for items that they (or, say, their spouse) puts in their own cart?
If this has been explained before, please link.
If we do find, or create a thread, please could it be stickied at the top of this sub-forum, since I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll wonder about this, and it will save having to answer the same question all the time.
Thanks.

1) To purchase products for someone else, you need to click the "Show gift options during checkout" box on the View Shopping Cart page. This will take to the gift options when you hit the "Proceed to Checkout" button.
2) You cannot purchase items out of another person's cart, but you can purchase them items off of their public Wishlist if they've got one and they've added their shipping address.
Your forum sticky idea is a good one. When Sara Marie or I get the time to make another Customer Service Tip, we'll make it on this subject.
Thanks,
cos

Thanks,
I've just had a look and found the alternate shipping address and optional message.
I was thinking of if I bought a pdf, if that person's e-mail address could be added during personalisation. This becomes an issue in Society play, when a player must be able to prove ownership of any non-core rules they are using. It's better if their pdf doesn't have my ID all over it.
I suppose I could always let them buy it, and give them the money, but it's less of a surprise that way.
