I got my student ID today. The picture is, predictably, horrible. Now I just have one last meeting on Monday morning, some more forms to fill out, and then I just wait for my student loans to disperse so I can afford to buy textbooks. It shouldn't be a problem. I'm told they're pretty prompt.

No it's not, but we have a plan.
All we have to do to start off is pay her car off. That adds $275 to our monthly income. She throws $150 of that ON TOP of my regular car payment, then my car is paid off in less than 2 years.
Got in to work this morning to find that the vandals here have broken yet another 104-year old window on the store front. It's on the owner's section, so they plan to board it up and leave it instead of replacing it. That'll be a good look. But who can afford (a) to replace this stuff every month or (b) the insurance coverage to replace this stuff?
I'm looking at a motion-detecting webcam now, since we have a PC up at the front. Those will detect motion through glass, right? They're not that expensive, and I set up one at work when we had a problem with some hateful nocturnal behavior.
Crap, what is it with people vandalizing and robbing those least able to afford it? What happened to the Robin Hood ethic of stealing from the rich, giving to the poor, and then punching the poor in the face? Oops, too much Time Bandits.

Sorry you (and Lynora) aren't getting it. I saved up some money (ugh, I'm sick of cheap rice, beans, and simple pasta right now), so I had enough for the APG pdf (couldn't afford the GMG or anything else though).
Edit: AUGH! The APG is being released one day later?!?! I could barely wait till Aug 4th!
If you can read this then we may have fixed a couple bugs.
