Trust me, they don't. Halloween makes for some strange sugary combos, and that one was just off-putting. >_<

I wonder if the pope likes swedish fish, or chocolate? Maybe we should start a thread and ponder this as a group?
I think there should be a subset of OTD called the Soapbox. It would make it easier to ignore the political/religious/troll types. The could stand on the virtual corner of the boards all day holding discussions with themselves.

Never saw it in 3D. 3D movies make my eyes hurt and give me vertigo.
My friend Mick went to see Avatar in IMAX 3D while on acid, and he said it was pretty good.

I didn't have high hopes for it so I honestly said hey even if the story is crap at least the fight scenes would be cool to watch in 3D. What a waste of 3D.

I'm sorry you didn't care for it. I found the movie a bit long and a little cheesy, but the action made up for it. I really don't see where all the Avatar hate I've been encountering lately is coming from.

The 8th Dwarf |

A joke for our Aussie FAWTLies -
Bruce, an Australian who was working on contract for 3 months in Dublin was drinking in Donoghueâ pub in Merrion Row when he gets a call on his mobile phone. He hangs up grinning from ear to ear, orders a round of drinks for everyone in the bar, because, he announces his wife back home has just produced a typical baby boy weighing 25 pounds.
Nobody can believe that any baby can weigh in at 25 pounds but Bruce just shrugs, "That's about average in Oz. Like I said my boy is a typical Australian baby boy."Congratulations showered him from all around and many exclamations were heard. One woman even fainted due to sympathy pains.
Two weeks later Bruce returns to the bar.
Greg, the bartender says "You're the father of that typical Australian baby that weighed 25 pounds at birth. Everybody's been having bets about how big he'd be in 2 weeks, we were going to call you. So how much does he weigh now?
The proud father answers '17 pounds"
Greg is puzzled and concerned. "What happened? He weighed 25 pounds the day he was born.
Bruce takes a long s-l-o-w swig from his Fourex, wipes his lips on his shirt sleeve, leans onto the bar and proudly says ............. "Had him circumcised, mate"
Funny :-)

If even once a live action movie could be made that even remotely came close to the level of quality that some of the animated, sometimes even poorly animated, fair does in terms of plot and characterization; I could then embrace the live action show. Sad to say these days when the animated Star Wars is better then the so called Live action movies that are mainly animated anyway.
Wow I am having a soap box day...... I need to stop!
