I had a James Bond character years ago Named Abby Normal. I have also used the name for a Champions character for her secret identity.

The race is on!

I got that LED D20 die. Almost cancelled the order when it was the only thing I was purchasing and the shipping was essentially two-thirds of the actual price. But I had. to. have. it! It has been used.

Happy festive season FAWLTies I hope you had lots of fun and good times.

Back and shoulder ache - leftovers from shovelling snow.

And, joy of joys, they've shut down the steam line coming in to the building where the wife and I work, which means no heat. Luckily, I knew yesterday that this would be the case and had two spare space heaters in my basement. At least my cubicle is somewhat warm.

Yep! But I admit I don't let it flash for long because I haven't quite figure out how to replace the battery or whatever it is running on to keep it juiced by the time it wears out.

It is weighed just right where you can just set it down on the table woth the 20 facing up and it will light up.

I tend to use it more in novelty situations - despite the video ad implying otherwise - as I don't want to have questions brought up concerning whether it's weighed / balanced properly.

Morning FAWTLs!

In 8(-ish) hours, I'll be on leave, and less than 48 hours after that my family and I will be winging our way to Florida for our Disneyworld and Disney Cruise vacation. This will be the first "real vacation" I've had in probably 5 or six years. Every other leave period I've had has involved either staying at home (read: doing household chores) or moving between houses or duty stations.

I'm kinda excited. ;)

Well, Sandy and Jason decided to go for broke and start that business they'd always wanted, although there was some concernt that not many people would feel the need for a garbage can cleaning service. Meanwhile, K.G. tried in vain to convince folks that the new movie Tron: Legacy was actually based on his real-life story. And, across town, Doctor Imadouche continued to expound on the virtues of his own....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

That is a good change. Have fun.

At about 1320 this afternoon I will be watching the new True Grit with my brother and mother. That will make for a good day.

I haven't been to Disney for a long time. Look forward to taking my kid there one day. Doesn't one of the hotels give a special rate to gov't and military - the Greenbriar maybe?

I'd probably only reserve it to confirm criticals or those long-shot dice rolls.

And now we are back to the question of the proper place to put Christmas lights.:)

I told my boss, that if I have to spend another shift listening to Christmas music I was going to stick a pen through my eardrums.

It's not the music, it's how repetitious it is! I can't stomach listening to "Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" more than 5 times a day, "Jingle Bells" 4 times a day, and "Last Christmas" even once!

*twitch*

Scarab Sages

The local "easy listening" station here in Philly finally stopped playing 24/7 Christmas music just the other day. That shit's been going on since before Thanksgiving!

A couple of pages ago Moorluck was talking about watching Christmas lights, and I said it depends on what the lights are on.:)

Okay...this is going on my third day of being snowed in. You'd think I'd be on paizo more, but I'm not..I'm looking out my window and wondering where all the buses are and why it took forever for the street(a major street, as I may have mentioned before) to get plowed, and why the mayor is on tv saying that everything is okay when it really, really isn't.

I think that's what mayors are for.

You guys haven't had any power or gas outages I hope?

There's a man here. He dresses a little weird and is obsessed with giving me drinks, but he keeps my spirits up. I think he understands my problems. I don't know where this axe came from, but it feels good in my hands. I think I'm going out for a walk in the cold and snow.

Fortunately, no. At least none that have been reported.
