You know what? I think I'm going to turn in and fall asleep listening to the wind and rain outside.
Goodnight, FAWTLs!
Night Paris and I leave you with this as you fall asleep

I read that as "sprout off". I couldn't figure what that meant at first. I thought "yeah, stop that random growing and stuff".
I might need to go to bed. :)
I need to go soon....John is waiting for me. :)
EDIT: Okay, this TotP was too easy.
Ok, I understand if you don't wait up for me. :)

Now I will continue upgrading a certain encounter in Kingmaker. I have coddled my players long enough!
Edited for: why did I use the word hitting there? weird.
Bring. It. On.
I have a song or two with your encounter's name on them.

There were a number of questions that aren't simply "agree" or "disagree".

Right, so I won't be reading more nasty personal or political comments about me. Wonderful, thanks for setting them straight, Solnes.

Nah; that would've been Four Loko. But the smack has been put down thoroughly on them. No more of that energy in your 12% alcohol 40 oz for a buck ninety-nine.
It only delays the inevitable.
It has been way too long since I have partaken of anything like that.

Yeah, I actually drank it. Not my beverage of choice, but the fact that it's cheap and accessible than my preferred alternative of a jagerbomb was the main issue that the attorney general(s) had (and in a sense, I agree with them - to a degree).
What you've described ... is how I feel about beer. And coffee.
me as well.

Sadly the late 90's and early 2000's Australian punk scene has passed its use by date.....
I am trying very hard to like Australian Hip Hop and it is very very different to US Hip Hop and rap but its just not working for me...
I must be getting old and my musical tastes are fossilising :-(
I feel you man, I can't stand most newer groups. Damn I am getting old.

I'm beginning to get the feeling that talking too much on Facebook (or anywhere else online) about politics/religion/other "controversial" topic lessens my enjoyment of the site involved? I know and actually like so many people with different social viewpoints, but it's frustrating to see so many of them spouting off.
I suppose I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't a blatant reminder that, were it not for a common interest in RPGs or some other connection, I probably would not be friends with them.
Of course, I usually feel this way when I see them involved in heated posts on something about which they know very little or are badly misinformed, at the very least...just because you're smart, it doesn't mean you have all the facts. (And if you argue vehemently without a firm grasp of the facts, you're essentially arguing from a faith-based position...boy, wouldn't that idea make some people mad?)
Anyway...it just makes me sad to see so many of my friends on both ends of the spectrum going off like that. It really makes me worry about the world my children will grow up to be part of. There is no world in which a single person or ideology is totally right. Failure to admit that another person's viewpoint may have some merit is the ultimate in hubris.
How can I teach my children to listen, think, and act with kindness, generosity, and compassion when such behavior begins to fade in even the closest of circles?
By being the example you wish them to see. It is but the best we as parents can be.

LOL! I needed that laugh.
Alas, Jeremy, I can't be the one to confirm that rumor for you...any more than I could confirm it for a room full of people anywhere in America. ;-) The Navy is, after all, a cross-section of the country it serves.
Oh dear Lord save us. ;-)
