Really? All that karmic debt's been charged to your dragon friend and he's getting married today?
You, sir, are almost as evil as me. ;)
Anyway, enough of the compliments. I have to go and get on with polishing my next set of posts.

So, yeah. Walked out the door, stepped in a hole and twisted my ankle. Couldn't shift without excruciating pain... *grumble grumble... drove the truck to work.

Home now, kinda nervous about taking off my boot. I only made it through the day at work with the help of a couple doses of Advil.

I recently sprained my ankle falling off a curb and then tried to go to a party because I was so excited and didn't want to miss it. About and hour later, I realized I needed to go to the ER to get it check out since it was massively swelling and hurt like heck. Was on crutches for a couple days.

I feel your pain!

Doc said to start practicing balancing on it as it starts to heal to help retrain the muscles to work right, otherwise it makes it easier to twist/sprain again.

We didn't get much playing time with our first campaign adventure set in Isger yesterday evening (the GM will be setting up the scene for Red Hand of Doom shortly). It felt good being a Ranger with 18 STR, a great sword, and goblinoid as a favored enemy. Made a crit and smacked one for 26 points of damage. And picked up a free longbow.

Now, back on the caravan headed to Elidir. Don't believe we'll be seeing the last of those goblins.

Sadly, I have a history with this ankle. The last time I sprained it, I was on crutches for 6 weeks... On the up side,I remember all the rehab exercises I did. That will help.

It's not that bad this time, I think I can avoid the crutches this time. If I wear my brace for a day or two, I should be able to start working with it. The bad part is, my job involves a lot of walking and a lot of stairs.

I wrote Imrijka a sonnet, once. I spent six weeks in an hospital with a broken pelvis.

I suspect the GM will have to change a couple of things to make it more suited to Golarion. But I did kindly inform him that I have the mini of a BBEG that will come in quite handy. :P

My daughter has some lovely stories she can share about my (lack of) behavior while making the round trips from NC to Tennessee last year.

I'm not a model parent when I'm behind the wheel, especially the longer the trip gets.

Not an Arcade Fire fan. Though, I will admit to having listened to them a few times. I file them right next to Wolfmother, My Chemical Romance, and the "new" Alice In Chains.

I could see Wolfmother. :)

I happen to like Arcade Fire, although it took more than one listen to get to that point.

Still, I'm surprised they got Album of the Year over the more "bankable" acts.

And, I might get flamed for this, but...I like the new MCR album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Much less of the effected emo attitude. :)

The great thing about disagreements over all of these people is, I have absolutely no idea who they are.
