...Besides, my karmic credit card is overdrawn. I had to borrow ... Sharoth's...

Really? All that karmic debt's been charged to your dragon friend and he's getting married today? You, sir, are almost as evil as me. ;)
Anyway, enough of the compliments. I have to go and get on with polishing my next set of posts.

Off to work. 70 degrees today! Beautiful riding weather.
So, yeah. Walked out the door, stepped in a hole and twisted my ankle. Couldn't shift without excruciating pain... *grumble grumble... drove the truck to work.
Home now, kinda nervous about taking off my boot. I only made it through the day at work with the help of a couple doses of Advil.

I recently sprained my ankle falling off a curb and then tried to go to a party because I was so excited and didn't want to miss it. About and hour later, I realized I needed to go to the ER to get it check out since it was massively swelling and hurt like heck. Was on crutches for a couple days.
I feel your pain!
Doc said to start practicing balancing on it as it starts to heal to help retrain the muscles to work right, otherwise it makes it easier to twist/sprain again.

We didn't get much playing time with our first campaign adventure set in Isger yesterday evening (the GM will be setting up the scene for Red Hand of Doom shortly). It felt good being a Ranger with 18 STR, a great sword, and goblinoid as a favored enemy. Made a crit and smacked one for 26 points of damage. And picked up a free longbow.
Now, back on the caravan headed to Elidir. Don't believe we'll be seeing the last of those goblins.
TOTP for snuffing out a goblin in one strike. In the nude.
My friend recently finished RHoD.

Sadly, I have a history with this ankle. The last time I sprained it, I was on crutches for 6 weeks... On the up side,I remember all the rehab exercises I did. That will help.
It's not that bad this time, I think I can avoid the crutches this time. If I wear my brace for a day or two, I should be able to start working with it. The bad part is, my job involves a lot of walking and a lot of stairs.

I can injure myself pretty easily now, I feel your pain. Take care of yourself.

I suspect the GM will have to change a couple of things to make it more suited to Golarion. But I did kindly inform him that I have the mini of a BBEG that will come in quite handy. :P

No, if I was doing that, there'd be a lot more curse words.
My daughter has some lovely stories she can share about my (lack of) behavior while making the round trips from NC to Tennessee last year.
I'm not a model parent when I'm behind the wheel, especially the longer the trip gets.

Freehold thank you so much, I never expected to win but I do have a few people I'd like to thank.
*clears throat*
I want to thank my wife, who I love so much it hurts.... her. I want to thank Jesus for loaning me the money to buy all those comics as a kid, and I want to thank everyone who was with me through this journey, thank you so much Voices in my Head, I couldn't be the man I am today without you!
OMG, I think I'm gonna cry, they like me. THEY REALLY REALLY LIKE ME!!!!!
;)
Hey, looks like you won the thread again.

I got booted through the exit well before the ride was over. They didn't think too kindly for me having my middle fingers standing at full attention when it was time to take the photos for the expensive pictures they hawk for 'memories keepsakes'.
Did you at least throw up the devil horns? You know, like you do for every other picture?

Happy 50th birthday, Henry Rollins. I cannot thank you enough for everything you've done over the years.

Valentines Day in my mind. at least until I find someone.
Valentine's Day, pretty much my entire life.
Sorry I'm weird today. I spent the last three hours inhaling mineral spirits and watching Lord of the Rrings.

Not an Arcade Fire fan. Though, I will admit to having listened to them a few times. I file them right next to Wolfmother, My Chemical Romance, and the "new" Alice In Chains.

I could see Wolfmother. :)
I happen to like Arcade Fire, although it took more than one listen to get to that point.
Still, I'm surprised they got Album of the Year over the more "bankable" acts.

As for Valentines Day... I've never relied on random calendar days to express my feelings so the likelyhood I will be spending money on my sweeties on this day is fairly slim... but I'm not a hater either.
My attitude on V-day is Moar Sexy Rumpus
