It's funny because for every wrong comma I use there is a place in my paper where it needed one. And strangely I used the ';' correctly.

One word...FLUFF

The whole paper is fluff. How can I fluff da fluffy?! *cries in the corner*

I'm just gonna have to convince the teacher since I was a paragraph over the last paper it's ok for me to be short a paragraph....RIGHT?! *stabs notebook with pen*
Seems a fair trade to me. Seriously though, how big on word count is this teacher? I have had ones who were word count Nazi's, and those who looked at quality, and as long as you were close to the count but made your point they were ok.
I'm not really sure-verdict is still out on the first paper.

Bad form...not cool.

Students should get the first paper back and have time to reflect on feedback before writing second paper.

Dear Ms Leafette,

You should abandon creative writing and invest in a career of a serial killer.

Let me tell you a little something about murder. It's fun, it's exciting, and it's real easy.

Suddenly I heard a tapping, as of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. You heard me rapping right?

Thanks....so close to an A! Have to make my self remember to send you a copy of this descriptive paper so Dr. Dad can catch any pesky comma splices that escape my grasp.

Guys, I have a confession to make. Have y'all ever noticed that the PMG and myself never post at the same time, and think about how Clark Kent and Superman are never in the same place at the same time. Yes folks, I am The Post Monster.

Oh! That reminds me: when I took the wife to Denny's before dropping her off at the office (BOO!), I had blueberry pancakes. That's right, delicious blueberry pancakes. Who's glad they never read certain links?

I must have missed something, somewhere, somehow, from someone. :/

Edited for accuracy.

Remember, Urizen and his whole blueberry waffle thing? Maybe Jeremy brought it up, but it grossed Urizen out. Quite the accomplishment. I believe you can find out what it is on Urban Dictionary, if you want to make that mistake.
