I told you not to handle the crucifix. Now look what you've done.

Silver Crusade

My stomach is all screwed up this evening. If it's salmonella from that cafeteria chicken, I'm raising hell.

I got the salmonella's once I'm pretty sure. Some kinda food poisons.
Chicken.....then like 3 days of being able to do nothing but sit on the toilet in horrible pain;
I was young and in good shape though; if I had to go through that now I might go to the e.r.; I really don't know.

I really really don't like to eat chicken that either I didn't prepare, or I know where the person is who prepared it so I can find them.

The Exchange

I did that once. It was pork, I think. Sittin on the toilet, bent over the bathtub. :/

Not fun.

exactly. I realized that's why they're so close sometimes.

That was somewhat disturbing. I'm pretty sure that's a clear men's room etiquette violation.

That's the one, and yes, certainly some sort of violation.

Oh well, if that's the worst thing I can complain about, I guess life is not so bad (just a little odd).

That's the point where I just start shouting

DIG THEW THU DICHIZ
AN BURM FOO THU WICHIZ
DA SLAM IMA BAGA MAH
DRAGULERRR!

whilst pounding on both stall walls as hard as I f!&~ing can

Rob Zombie lyrics will do that. :D

Liberty's Edge

Yeah ... I didn’t try that.

Next time.

I figure.....what are they gonna say, right?

Liberty's Edge

Soylent Green is made of people! O_o

In hindsight, I kind of suspected. Could've been direct by M. Night Shyamalan...

This seems like something you would be certain of, Flash.

In all, seriousness, though, I hope you're okay and that everything works out fine.

Yeah I'm OK. Just a little shaken up. The car isn't drivable and although there is a fair bit of damage, it is all fairly well contained to the front bumper/radiator.

Oh and Happy Birthday! :)

Hope you're ok Craig, and you can get the car fixed without too much hassle.

Ack! I was hoping 2011 was going to be a better year for you Flash. Not the best way to start. Glad you are ok and I hope the repair/replacement of your car doesn't set you too far back.

How many times have we told you about driving while watching videos of Solnes' alone time!?

Really glad you're ok buddy.

So I noticed today as I made my Birthday wishes to a certain sea faring dragon, that he is from VA. The same town where many of my kinfolk lived, and I must ask, did you by any chance have an Aunt Betty? Because my Aunt Betty's married name was Crenshaw.....

Where in Va?

The Exchange

Lynchburg. Although most of them lived in Cool Spring, quite a few spread out around the state..

I guess everyone is workin, damn stupid cold. :/

Feeling better this morning. Must not be salmonella, but probably some milder level of bacterium. I still blame the dodgy semi-raw chicken.

Silver Crusade

Glad you're okay, Flash. Hope you can get the car sorted quickly.

Morning all. What did I miss?

I am at work after taking my mother-in-law across the boarder to WI to drop her off at her car. Driving in the cities scares her. Now to wait and see how I did for RPG Superstars, and everyone else from FAWTL.:)

The last 3 episodes of Legend of the Seeker: Season 2. Now we're gonna start on Sparticus: Blood and Sand..... I'm not real impressed so far, but maybe it gets better?

EDIT: And Darken Rahl is in this as well! Maybe it will be ok after all.

What is the deal with the trend towards so much blood in movies? Do they not realize that there's only, what 7 liters? of blood in the human body? But every sword slash spills gallons, even if it hits the arm.

Scarab Sages

Bleargh! Got up late today and took my time dealing with the winter weather - overnight snow that slowly transitioned to rain this morning. Had to shovel ice and clean off the car. My street looked like you could skate on it for a while.

Rest assured, if I ever come to rule this planet, I will immediately put all my scientists to work on solving this whole "winter" problem once and for all!

Huzzah! Posted in Gamer Talk for a new episode of Flagons and Dragons! First one I've been in since sometime in October or November.

If you two are cousins, that is going to be the craziest FAWTL coincidence ever.

No, maiden name Moore, she was one of the sweetest women in the world. Sadly she passed 20 years ago from an infection during her cancer therapy.

Shackles of Willing Submission

These delicate silver shackles are joined together with a slender chain 3 foot long.

The shackles can only be placed on a willing subject, once placed about the subjects wrist it causes the wearer to become very obediant. All verbal request are treated as a Suggestion, no save is allowed. Note that ALL verbal request, by ANYONE who speaks to the wearer are affected.

Cost: Priceless. ;)

Remember these?

An excellent item. I would love 3 pairs of these, myself.

I'll have to talk to my mom, then. I know she was named after one of her relatives, but that shouldn't have anything to do with her married name.

That said, if you've got an aunt named Crenshaw who lived in Virginia, the chances are pretty high that we're related in some way. The Crenshaws have been in Virginia since 1642, with my branch of the family's homeplace centered in Albemarle County. That didn't change much until about 1930.

I guess calling you my FAWTL Cousin has more truth to it than I even knew! ;)

The name "Smitty's Burgers" doesn't ring a bell, unfortunately.

Get well Moorluck!!!

Just a quick status update from work. This weekend was awesome despite the lack of wife due to the Darklight Sisterhood Game. There was more blood and death as one of the PCs is starting to get a name for herself in fight-for-your-freedom-ten-on-one slave pit-fights. She's undefeated(of course), and enjoying the vast amounts of bloodshed as with each death she gets another mark on her back denoting the kill, which makes her infernal masters quite happy. We also had a tea party where they got to pick their followers(read: minions) for their upcoming adventure. A Rod of Splendor's weekly ability was used to create a debauched psuedo Gothic-Lolita Tea Party, and the PCs are slowly choosing those who they feel have the stuff to make it as full members of the Darklight Sisterhood. I also find it fascinating that this game came up during the same week that Star Wars: The Clone Wars is doing their own Nightsisters episodes, although I am not surprised in the slightest that Asajj Ventress is a member of that organization- I cannot wait for the wife to return on Friday, she is going to eat up those episodes.

I'm also happily keeping up on my New Year's Resolutions. Martial arts was great last night, just as cerebral as it was a workout, and I'm looking forward to Manhattan Pathfinder next week. I'm ecstatic that one of the people in class who was one of our regular Thursday Night gamer(as well as the younger half-brother of one) has started his own Pathfinder group with people in class- we all saw younger versions of ourselves in them. I'm still posting in the 1000 aasimar/tiefling/ressurrection traits threads, although I need to step it up a notch in the alternate history one.

So, what else is everyone up to?

The Exchange

What did the producers of Blood and Sand do, raid the cast of Legend of the Seeker? I've spotted 8 actors who were in LoTS.

Smitty's was a burger joint around there I think, we used to go to it whenever we took our summer trips to visit with Dad's family. I wish I could remember Betty's husbands name.... but after she passed we never really went back.
