+1. I own the SW - Clone Wars movie and seasons 1 and 2. Very good series.

I may have to check and see if I can find them on DVD then.
~The Man Without Cable.EDIT: And really, isn't just about everything better than the movie that wasn't made?
CJ's right; they are indeed much better than the movie that never existed. I need to pick up Season One and Two on DVD so I can start watching Season 3 that I've been saving on DVR. Can never seem to find them used around here and I don't have any friends who own them for me to borrow.

Pending approval, it looks like I'll begin a second game on Sunday nights (I warned that I wouldn't be able to play as frequent due to our commitment to family related weekend trips to Cincy) and it looks to be Pathfinder rules and hopefully to be set in Golarion! Need to figure out what the hell I want to play.
Brainstorm suggestions welcome!

Are they running an AP? You can never really go wrong with a Ranger if that is the case.
Edit: Human is never bad in Golarion either.

Honestly, I've been thinking of a ranger. Especially when it was made known he might run Red Hand of Doom around 5th level. He may consider APG classes, but I really hadn't paid much attention to the book other than first skimming it when I got it in my monthly subscription.
Human is never bad in just about any campaign setting. I just need to figure where I want to originate a PC. I believe he's allowing talents.

Did he say where it was going to be set? I alway thought that Molthune or Isger would be good choices.
I mainly use the talents to gain extra class skills. I'm currently playing a Ranger in a Council of Thieves game which is very urban, so I choose talents to gain Diplomacy and Sense Motive. Those make a world of difference when you're trying to track someone who is using a paved road. :P
Urizen |
Favored Terrain may be a difficult choice in Red Hand... Urban is still a good one, if you know how to rules-jack about paved roads. :P
I try not to abuse rule-jacking if I can help it. =) Isger would be a good choice. I did warn him that I have a vague familiarity with RHoD, so I suggested to him to not run it by the book, but to change things up a little bit to fit it more to the Golarion setting (like the BBEG, for instance). But knowing he's running it, I'm going to do my best to avoid referring to it at this point because I don't want to have an unfair advantage and spoil the fun.

Rog/Bar.
Or Sor/Hungry Monk. Punishing Kick at 1st lvl helps keep them off so you can cast those nice fire spells. >:)

Right. You've got a whole host of choices in terms of combat styles as well. You said you were going to use the APG? Check out some of the alternate combat styles there.

The Worse, Riley is a sick little boy today. :(
What's going on in that house? Are we going to have to paint a great big X on it to designate it a plague house?
In all seriousness, I hope little Riley and Solnes get better quickly. This cold season seems particularly nasty for some reason. I know very few people who are completely well right now.

Oooh! Thanks for the alternate combat styles archetypes reminder! As for a Paladin? Yeah.....I can't see that happening. I did that once unsuccessfully. Not saying one has to play the typical 'LG' trope, but he usually tends to be the de facto party mouthpiece. Given that I may not be able to dedicate as much playing time as others, that wouldn't be the best class for me to take.

Rog/Bar has some very cool synergies as does Ran/Barb.
From what I know RHoD ranger would be a good option.
If your attendance is going to be inconsistent a mysterious Ranger/Rogue who shows up to help sometimes then disappears into the shadows can be cool too.

Curious what some of your impressions are on the Inquisitor.

Woo! Safely home. There's not even that much snow yet. But the roads are like a frakking ice rink.
On the plus side, my new backpack finally made it here! Yay! My poor distressed shoulders rejoice. I threw out my left shoulder last semester and my right one has been complaining the last couple of days since it has to do all the work. Dang Anatomy text is heavy. But now I have a wheeled backpack. A Jansport Driver 8. It's really nice. And it's purple. The fact that it looks all girly is such a nice plus. ^.^
