Geez. You want a new proofreader, email me.
Sure! Post here when you email so I know to check.

But we're concerned that they may not have a domestic partner insurance option -- which is normally and increasingly becoming common in my locality.
When I worked at the bank, they had both, and a girl I worked with carried her live-in boyfriend on her insurance, but most are as you describe.

Thanks, lynora.
We'll do our research and see how things go. I know we've tended to be somewhat neurotic and maybe a little controlling as parents, so I don't want to exacerbate the situation, but the girls do have very mild cases of cerebral palsy and some other issues. We've been attributing most of our problems to their extreme prematurity.
This may still be related to that, but it's manifesting more in an emotional/psychological way, so we're looking at what else we need to do. We were referred to some biofeedback specialists and discovered that her anxiety levels are off the charts high.
That clued us in that there was more going on, but the "holistic approach" isn't getting us anywhere, so we are now looking at the more clinical aspects of this. I just hope she won't need any kind of medication.

I can play PF now?
Seems like a good way to start.

It seems like there is a lot of that going around, both on the boards and in people I know. It's times like these when we have to lean on each other. We're here for you, badger.

It's not all the bad stuff that's going on here. Although I do feel guilty being all mopey when other people have more serious issues bothering them.
Don't mind the badger with the bad mascara...
You know. I learned a long time ago that you can't compare your problems with those of other people. What's important to you IS important. Doesn't matter how "big" other folks' problems might seem. I mean, perspective is important, but you can't discount yourself just because someone else has troubles.
I know you folks are here to provide encouragement and support. You know we're here for you, too.
That's what FAWTLies do for each other.
Well, that and find strange reasons to get nekkid.

Someone fixes his ey make-up so we all feel better.

To give this old treant a proper swan song. Heck, if you're gonna walk away from Paizo and its boards you should do it with style, guns blazing.
And, LT has friends at the company. Friends that are happy to ignore his trolling. Sad thing, is that they alienate part of their customer base by supporting it. We know how that turned out for another company. :(

Here’s hoping everything improves for you, your wife and your daughter. As a formerly morbid child myself who was very much bullied growing up (and I’m glad to know the school is taking the bullying seriously, as they did in my situation) I know these situations can be frightening to watch. Usually the kid is trying to work out the frustrations of being bullied out in another venue, and it can be disturbing. However, it could also be the pains of puberty, albeit a few years too early (another period of my life where I got morbid, as I was older I worked it out through horror movies and the like). Still, you’re being an attentive parent, so far it sounds like without being overprotective like my mom was. Keep an eye on her(not that you need me to tell you that), and make sure she doesn’t cross the line with respect to death(bringing home dead animals, etc).

And, yes, he does post in gaming threads. He got chewed out by some of the staff during the Magus playtest, I believe.

E7: Thanks for the clarification.
You're welcome, but unfortunately I don't see the 'other' side realizing it. Let alone acknowledging the need. Seems like wasted cyber breath for the audience that needs to hear it.
Heck. I'm not even a 'good/real' Catholic as the book goes. But I read a different book. :)

To be honest I think Ross and Gary are so overrun right now that they get to the flags when they can. And I would guess OTD is the last threads they get to.

Or me, or Ashe I think we all applied.

OK, is there any Fawtly who is NOT depressed? Anyone? Bueller?
I'd put a badger on the payroll if I could. Do badgers do independent website creation?
Hmmmm. I'd consider doing the work for free. Might take a while. :)
And, I'm thinking I need to back away from the boards for a bit, before I post something even more sarcastic in other threads.

I think it is the time of year. Immediately following Thanksgiving, people are usually depressed due to a combination of tiredness from Thanksgiving and the need to prepare for Christmas/Chanukkah/Kwanzaa/Ramadan(if it's during December that year)/and New Year's right afterwards. It's a blah time, and the weather doesn't help, usually.

The darkness after the time change tends to get me down. Or for this year, down-er.
